オオカミ once existed throughout much of Europe. Conflicts with humans and fears originating from religious beliefs, myths and folklore influenced human attitudes towards オオカミ and, as a result, オオカミ have been persecuted for hundreds of years. Currently, オオカミ are found in many European countries, although range lines are not depicted in the map above. Main prey in this region generally consists of ungulate species, including livestock. My お気に入り place is among the tall, majestic redwood trees of northern California, of which I still think of as my home. But the most special place in my ハート, 心 that only few I have told about, is on a cliff over looking the Pacific.

THE MAKERS OF FIRE

The cub came upon it suddenly. It was his own fault. He had been careless. He had left the cave and run down to the stream to drink. It might have been that he took no notice because he was heavy with sleep. (He had been out all night on the meat-trail, and had but just then awakened.) And his carelessness might have been due to the familiarity of the trail to the pool. He had travelled it often, and nothing had ever happened on it.

Malik

Malik, an Arctic subspecies of the gray wolf, was born May 8, 2000 and is a brother to Shadow. Malik is very curious 狼, オオカミ that shows little intimidation with strangers. He's described as easy-going によって the 狼, オオカミ care staff and can be easily distracted によって just about anything. Malik was placed in the Retired Pack in November 2009.
