People will disagree with me, and while both are tragic, this one is much sadder. Littlefoot has only a few moments left to talk to his mother and is trying to fool himself that she'll be alright. Simba did see his dad fall and die, but Littlefoot had to watch his mother slowly die and be in pain. At least Simba didn't have to see his father suffer, Littlefoot did.
