I may be alone in this, but I honestly don't care about emotion in singing. I prefer beautiful voices, and emotion doesn't automatically equal beautiful to me.

Being able to sing with emotion is much better. I find that some of the people who are singing with a powerful voice are really only yelling - sometimes that is.

Also, if it is a song that I would like to kind of sing along with - I would prefer the emotional song / singer.
