Even though I love the original fiery red color, I love this hairstyle to bits.

Oh yes, I remember that! It was a tough choice on this one too, I guess I got used to this one, from the banner (plus the starfish looks so pretty in her hair). The only Ariel hairstyle I actually don't like is that monstrous bow thing she wears with her front locks up. It makes her forehead look weird.

Ariel's not someone who cares much about looks. This is one way disney has her stand out among her sisters and the disney princesses. Her free-spirted nature doesn't care much for accessories such as burettes, bracelets, necklesses, or earings. This one reprisents who she is, plus in the movie we don't see her in this dress with earings or that starfish.
