I just like how consistent she is as a person. She sticks to her morals no matter what (unless it's a life or death situation) and I like that. Like, she made a promise to the Beast to stay in the castle which she stuck with until he threatened her life, then she left. Good on her. It's a quality that's very important to me. I don't like inconsistent people.

Belle is not empathetic. She is is FULL of judgement. I guess she has about as much politeness as everyone here does, and I don't see too much passion in her, save for reading.

But what morals Belle has, she sticks to. So, as Princesslullaby has said, at least Belle is consistent.

I basically like all of Belle's traits, but this one for the most.

She does judge people by their appearances though Disnerd. But yes, she has some really strong values and it's good for being around people like Gaston and pre-character development Beast.

The only good quality she has in my opinion. Her strong morals are really just seeing her own personal opinion on how people should behave as better. To me she's actually extremely judgmental especially when it comes to Gaston and the townsfolk, she judges beast immediately, and doesn't really deserve to be correlated with the "don't judge a book by it's cover" motto because she is almost constantly judging everyone and passing them off as beneath her. At the least though, she does like to come off as polite, but she doesn't really seem too passionate about anything to me.

The really redeemable thing she does is help the beast when he gets hurt protecting her, and sacrificing herself for her father, at the very least she feels a great deal of empathy for others, because I would've just left my captor bleeding in the snow. XD
She does understand how the castle staff must feel, so that's pretty nice of her.

i like her for most of her qualities. She is strongly grounded in her values and reality. She's balanced about her dreams and practicality of life. I love how she's nonjudgemental. She never really judges Gaston but says she's not fit to be her wife. She knows how he is and knows too well she wouldn't make him as well as herself happy being with him. She only judges him once when he incites people to murder Beast and blackmail Belle to marry him.
I somewhat understands when people say she judges town people but judging Beast and Gaston makes me go like "What, are you serious?!" So basically, you would/should not judge someone who captures your father and imprisons you and then orders you around to have dinner with him. All she does is put her stance clear to Beast.
And honestly, what do you say to a guy who barges in your house, hovers over you in the name of marriage proposal, plots to have your father declared mental and then blackmail the woman you want to marry.
