She isn't my least favorite and I don't dislike her, but I haven't seen the movie very many times. I've always just been sort of neutral to her. Also because she technically isn't a princess and doesn't really fit in with the rest of them.

I don't think I'd remove any of them.... I mean, Disney decided who was "in" the lineup. And the internet is full of heated arguments about "getting rid of certain characters"--- Mulan, for example. Since Mulan is so often a target of this...I've stopped wanting anybody who is in the lineup to disappear from the lineup. I've come to the conclusion that while I may not like whichever character, they still have "a right" to be included. But I'll admit...my view is long-term, and I am thinking about these characters as part of Disney's legacy.

It is either her or Mulan, but since she is Pixar, and she was specifically made to be the anti-thesis of the Disney Princess, it is weird for her to be added in.

I would say Snow White just because she's my least favorite, but considering she was the first.. it wouldn't be right. xp

I don't think I'd actually remove any if I had the power, but if I /had/ to choose.. then Merida. She's Pixar and her movie was just so not.. Disney Princess-y.

I wouldn't remove any of them. But people will always choose Merida in pools like that.

This is hard but I picked her because it's not historically accurate, but that doesn't mean I don't like her. She just my first choice.

She really doesn't have her own niche like the others do... she doesn't stand out in any way imo. same goes for Jasmine, who is pretty much ignored these days.... and Mulan because she's not a princess and tbh just seems kinda mismatched for the lineup. (though i would like to keep those last two around to keep the lineup diverse.)

^ I agree, there's not much unique about her. Or Pocahontas. If Elsa and Anna are included, I'd pick Elsa for sure.

Or Pocahontas because they are the only ones who are not actually princesses. They are more "heroines" than princesses.

I just don't understand with peoples who picked Merida. Okay, okay, she is the most different among all of DP. Pixar princess, tomboy, rebellious, etc. But sometimes we would need something different right? So all you want is the DPs are all damsel in distres (like Snow, Aurora, etc). Oh my, the kind of princess like that is kinda boring, we need the active one!

She is not a princess, she wasn't royal; by birth or marriage. she doesn't need to be there. Most of the princesses (bar Merida) rely on a man, Mulan is simply a strong heroine such as Tinker Bell, Tiger Lily etc who do not need to be in the official line-up either

I agree with the people who chose Merida.

I'd have chosen Elsa if the Frozen ones were here because Frozen only needs one and Anna is the one that fits the criteria but...

My God do I hate that Merida is a princess. Brave wasn't a bad movie but Disney literally broke all the rules they put in place themselves just to add her. She's the only Pixar princess, the only princess without a love interest, the only princess that doesn't sing... It's too much deviation from what a Disney Princess is supposed to be.
