Intro: Katara of the Southern Water Tribe is a very kind and caring person. When the situation calls for one, she steps up to be the メリダとおそろしの森 leader and mother of the group. Though she also has a temper, which she can be quite dangerous with that combined with her water bending. She also always seems to know what she wants and likes in a 与えられた situation. Though does she know what she wants when it comes to love?
1. As seen in the episode, “The Fortune Teller”, Katara 発言しました directly to Aunt Wo what she likes in a guy: a handsome, tall man. Later in the season she developed a crush on a guy named Jet. Jet matched Katara’s 説明 in “The Fortuneteller” well. He was both handsome and tall, the very things that Katara likes. Who else do we know on the 表示する who matches that description? Firelord Zuko.

In the Sozin’s Comet book, one of the creators, Bryan Konietzo said, “Zuko and Katara might have shared some sparks, but sometimes there are people along your ‘journey of love’ who are there to teach あなた about yourself and what あなた really need, but don’t necessarily end up being your partner.” Sometimes this is true (especially with friendships), yet sometimes this isn’t. In Katara’s case, I would say it isn’t. She has been through a lot, and she doesn’t need somebody who she can just 愛 または kiss. She needs a person who understands her and her feelings.
