nah Anubis has the Pyramid of Light remember which destroys the god cards so Mariks main monster is useless, and it took all three gods and blue eyes shining for the pharoah to beat him so theres no way Marik can do this without a god, don't forget Anubis can raise his sphinxs attack power to 35,000

They're from the same time, so they'd have similar tactics, but Anubis only has one trump card. If he doesn't draw it, he's toast easily. Actually...the movie was really vague on just how his strategy worked. He did only show up in like, the last 5 minutes. The rest was all Kaiba. Eh, I think Marik can take him.
