Revenge growled, leaping at Becca. Becca blocked his blows to her torso, but overlooked the movement of his legs until it was too late.
Becca landed square on her back as Revenge stepped back, gasping for air.
Robin looked on with a professional batface. No emotion showed as he watched Revenge activate his anti-gravity boots and walk up the wall.
Becca was about to use some mystic power of hers, but at that moment, a voice rang over the speakers.
"Practice is over, Shade, Revenge. レポート to the main briefing room." Batman's voice echoed through the cave. Revenge deactivated his boots and stepped down.
Becca grabbed her ジャケット and tossed it on before slapping Revenge in the back of the head.
"Will あなた stop it with that?" Revenge asked.
"You deserved it!" Becca retorted.

"What now?" she asked.

Revenge growled and shoved past Becca into the briefing room. She growled, but bit her toungue and walked into he room with clenched fists.

"You two are the best of the best." he said. "And that's why we need you."
An image appeared on the screen. "The Jazzman and his gang have infiltrated Gotham's government. We don't know how, but we know they're planning something big. Don't go to the cops, they've been corrupted too."
"So what's the goal of this mission?" Revenge asked.
"Infiltrate the gang's HQ as civilians and get intel on what their plans are, then レポート to the Justice League and Commissioner Gordon alone. We'll handle it." バットマン said.
"Whoah, Whoah, Whoah." Revenge said, holding up his hands. "Civilian? But-"
"Who better suited for foul play than a rich-boy?" バットマン asked. "Samuel Grant, meet Rebecca Stevens, your girlfriend."

All I could think about was the past. Staring at my brothers body, it made it harder to forget. Fang making fart jokes at the school through our cages trying to make me laugh. Me jumping on the ベッド trying to wake Fang up, laughing when I "accidentally" kicked him where it counts, him shoving me off the ベッド and onto the floor I stood there the past drowning out the battle in the background.
