YJ: Return P2

Previously on The Return...


"Russia?" Robin asked.

"Russia." バットマン said.

"With the international banquet between the United States and Russia approaching, tensions are running high and security has been pushed up."

"You want us to watch over the banquet and make sure no one tries anything." Robin said.

"Precisely."

"Batman 発言しました to スプリット, 分割 into groups of two so it goes as follows: Megan, Connor. Artemis, Wally. Revenge, Holly. And Robin and me."

"Communications are scrambled. Something's going to happen. Get the Team, hurry!" Revenge said.

Out of nowhere, something hit him and pinned him to the wall, causing him to drop his gun. Revenge looked down to see ice spikes had caught his suit and nailed him to the wall.

Out of the shadows on the other side of the 通り, ストリート walked what could only be the assassin.

She was about fifteen, sixteen and definitely had super-powers. Her spiky hair was an icy blue and her skin was pale. She had on faded skinny jeans and snow boots. A white tank 上, ページのトップへ was hidden under her baby blue 毛皮 jacket. She had a fit and curvy form. She walked over to him.

"You are?" Revenge asked.

"Ice Crystal,"

Ice Crystal yanked Revenge's mask off and dropped it at his feet. She ran into the darkness.

Revenge glared into the darkness before turning to Holly.

"She knows who I am."

A ナイフ impaled itself in the floorboard in front of him. He looked up to see the girl they'd chased standing on the balcony of the 秒 story. She pulled off her フード and removed the black wig she'd had on. Courage gasped.

"Know her?" Revenge asked, not turning his aim from the girl.

"Know?" the girl asked, walking across the balcony, Revenge keeping his aim on her. "We were practically sisters at the Shadow's training grounds."

"Take that as a yes." Revenge muttered. "Freeze." he said.

"If あなた insist." the girl said, raising her hands in surrender. She dropped down and ice shards flew from the shadows behind her.

Revenge pulled up his aim and shot two shards out of the air. He moved his aim to the third one-

-but it was too late. The shard fought him in the chest, throwing him back and onto the floor.

"Red!" Courage exclaimed.

Revenge groaned and sat up on his elbows. "I learned a trick from you." he 発言しました to Courage, pulling the shard out of his chest. "Stab resistant armor, Crystal." Revenge said, standing up. "Give it up!"

"What the heck are あなた doing?" ヒイラギ, ホリー asked, yawning. 

"Same thing as before," Sam said, pulling away from the computer for a minute. "working on something."

"And that something is?" ヒイラギ, ホリー asked, getting up and throwing her ローブ on.

"Heat gun," Sam replied, turning back to the computer screen.

"Group of terrorists who have been caught trying to blow up several key government buildings. Extremists. Countrymen who claim they will bring back the former power of Russia." Sam read. 

ヒイラギ, ホリー leaned over and looked at the pad. "They use old military uniforms and new weapons."

"Joseph Stalin." Sam said. "The United States and the U.S.S.R. were the two world superpowers. Stalin was a member of the U.S.S.R. He killed twenty million of his own people. He made the Soviet Union what it was. However, it didn't last and almost all of Russia's power is gone."

Revenge handed Courage a rebreather before diving into the submerged mine shaft.

The two swam down, seeing nothing but darkness for a while. They finally felt the mineshaft go up. They followed it and walked in the first door they found. 

The two young ヒーローズ found themselves in what had to be an armory. Weapons hung neatly on the walls and uniforms were stacked against one wall. Revenge went over and opened a box. Grenades were inside.

"Hostile Takeover." he said.

Revenge heard something and looked through an air duct. He was shocked によって what he saw. 

Thousands of soldiers were standing in old military uniforms with rifles on their shoulders. They stood perfectly still at attention. On the ウォール behind them was a red banner with four letters in black.
