It had been a week since the テニス tournament had ended, and everybody in the キノコ Kingdom had now settled down after all that hype.
It was about ten-to-eight in quite a rather pleasant spring morning. The denizen's in town were mostly taking a stroll in this part of Toad Town, または tending the gardens at their houses.
Mario meanwhile, was entering his own residence. Coming back from his mailbox with today's mail. Luigi on the other hand, was flicking through channels on the TV set.
He seemed to be a little distraught toady, not finding a good program that caught his attention. "Anything good on the telly, bro?" Asked Mario as he sat down on the dining 表, テーブル nearby. "Nope." Luigi answered, who switched it off and lightly threw the remote on the 表, テーブル in front of him. "It's all morning reports and programs that are uninteresting."
"Well, it's that time of the morning." Mario replied. But Luigi just sighed in disbelief, slouching himself further into the couch. "Suppose."
Mario then began to check through the mail, consisting of nothing but bills. Until he came across a red letter covered with ピンク ハート, 心 stickers, and the addressee written in fancy handwriting. What surprised him however, that it was for Yoshi. 'I wonder who'd be 書く to Yoshi.' Mario pondered in his mind, before he turned the letter over. Revealing the sender's name on the 上, ページのトップへ part of the envelope, which was also in fancy handwriting. "Oh."
At this point, Yoshi appeared from upstairs. Looking like as if he had just woken up. He had been staying with the Mario bros since the テニス tournament was over. Although, Mario and Luigi were もっと見る than welcome to let him stay at their house for a couple of weeks. However, Yoshi could not stay with them forever.
"Morning." He sleepily greeted to the first person he saw, which was Mario. "Ah, good morning Yoshi. Lovely day, isn't it?" He politely replied. "Hey Yoshi," Luigi called out to Yoshi. Then he asked, "How did あなた sleep last night?" "Fine thanks Luigi." Yoshi answered as he sat down によって the dining 表, テーブル opposite Mario.
"Anything there for me Mario?" Yoshi asked in regards with the mail, "Hmm, あなた seem a bit keen with the mail today Yoshi." Mario answered, "Are あなた expecting something?"
Yoshi thought on what Mario 発言しました to him, he then replied the best answer he could think of; "Not really, just thought I asked." "Well, there is a letter for you." Mario 発言しました to Yoshi as he handed the letter across the table. Yoshi took it and examined the front of the letter. But when he turned it over to find out who send it to him in the first place, he saw the name he knew all too well. Setting his ハート, 心 aflame in the process.
"Birdo?" Yoshi whispered to himself. "What, what is it?" Luigi asked dumbfounded, while walking over to the 表, テーブル where Mario and Yoshi were seated. によって this stage, Yoshi had already opened the letter. Consisting of a light ピンク piece of paper with 愛 ハート, 心 graphics on the 上, ページのトップへ left and bottom right corners. Just like the envelope, it was written in fancy handwriting.
He began to read it quietly, so quietly in fact, Mario and Luigi had to lean in close just so they could what Yoshi was saying.
After Yoshi finished 読書 the letter, he put it down on the table.
"YAHOO!" He happily exclaimed, so loudly that both brothers had to cover their ears.
Yoshi then got up from the 表, テーブル and began to dance around it. While constantly chanting: 'She loves me!'
"Whoa, steady on there Yoshi." Luigi coaxed, attempting to hold an excited Yoshi in place. But it was no use, Yoshi obliviously struggled out of Luigi's grasp and kept dancing.
Mario picked up the letter that was lying near him on table, and began to read through it himself. Ignoring the noisy Yoshi who was now dancing all over the house. With Luigi hot on his tail, trying to stop him.
After 読書 the first few lines, Mario found Birdo's 書く style quite intriguing, if bizarre. 'How does she came up with this sort of poetry?' He thought.
As he continued to read the rest of letter, Luigi sat back down on the 表, テーブル with a huff. Having 与えられた up calming down Yoshi. "Do something, will you!" He cried, "Yoshi's going to make a mess if あなた don't stop him." But Mario ignored him, still 読書 through the letter.
Once Mario finished reading, he put the letter down on the 表, テーブル close to his side. Only for Luigi to retrieve the letter so he could have a read. All while Yoshi was still dancing around the house.
Then Mario had an idea. "Hey, Yoshi!" Mario called out over-loudly, causing not only Yoshi to stop in his tracks, but Luigi to cover his ears from the noise that Mario made. Now that Mario had Yoshi's attention, he continued; "I'll tell あなた what, why don't あなた write back to Birdo?" He asked Yoshi, "I'm sure she'd appreciate it."
"And how exactly are we gonna do that?" Luigi asked back in doubt, "Does Yoshi know how to write?" Yoshi gave Luigi a filthy look, frighting him. While Mario pondered on what Luigi 発言しました to him.
After minimal thought, Mario then added; "Then we'll go over to the 城 and see if the princess can help us. You're coming?" "Nah." Luigi replied, "I think I'll stay here." "Suit yourself" Mario answered back, as he made his way to the front door. "C'mon Yoshi." He called to Yoshi. Who followed Mario out of the house who still had that excited look on face, only much もっと見る calmer. Once Mario closed the door behind him, Luigi was now all alone. He let out a heavy sigh, drooping his chin onto the table. He even lightly threw the letter across the table, trying to keep his morning blues at bay, but it didn't seem to be working.
