The 2006 film, スーパーマン Returns, was a nostalgia tribute to Richard Donner and Christopher Reeve's versions of Superman, as well as Superman's big return to the big screen. Since the film was built around スーパーマン coming back to Earth, I think that the perfect song to have in the film is John Sebastian's Welcome Back Kotter song.
