This 記事 is dedicated in loving memory to Ed Asner, the person who voiced Roland Daggett.

バットマン has the best rogues gallery of any hero. Batman's adversaries are some of the most iconic baddies in all of fiction. Joker, Penguin, Catwoman, Riddler and the others have quite the fanbase. However, バットマン has plenty of strong villains who don't get as much attention as they deserve.

One of Batman's underrated villains is Roland Daggett. Roland Daggett wasn't a villain that was created for the comics. He was created for 1992's Batman: The Animated Series. The Animated Series used a lot of classic villains, but they also created some villains of their own. One of my personal お気に入り is Roland Daggett.

At first glance, Roland Daggett might not seem very special. He's not a traditional supervillain. He doesn't have an elaborate costume, nor does he have a colorful gimmick. However, Daggett proved himself to be one of the most sinister villains in Batman: The Animated Series.

Some of Batman's villains work together, but Roland Daggett is so evil that even a lot of Batman's enemies can't stand him. In Daggett's first appearance, he got Matt Hagen addicted to an untested type of face cream. This addiction led to Hagen becoming Clayface. Daggett also did some experiments involving Catwoman, which led to Catwoman having a vendetta against him.

A lot of Batman's villains are just enemies of Batman, but Daggett serves as an enemy to both バットマン and Bruce Wayne. Daggett runs his own company. While he makes a good amount of money, he desires more. Since Bruce Wayne is Gotham's richest businessman, Daggett goes out of his way to antagonize against Bruce. He even tried to frame Bruce for a crime.

Roland Daggett might just seem like a sneaky businessman, but he might be one of the most evil people that Batman's ever faced. Daggett's true villainy is shown in the episode Appointment In Crime Alley. In this episode, Daggett is secretly having buildings, that poor people live in, blown up. He's doing this so he can replace the buildings with things that will make him もっと見る money. He was even willing to let the people in the buildings die if they didn't leave their homes. Thankfully, バットマン showed up to stop anybody from being blown up. Daggett let his henchmen take all the blame for what happened, so he could go free. Thankfully, he finally got arrested in the show's finale.

Ed Asner did a great job at voicing Daggett. He made Daggett sound professional and intimidating. He avoided making Daggett sound over-the-top, which helped disguise how evil Daggett truly was.

Although Roland Daggett was just meant to be an antagonist for Batman: The Animated Series, he ended up having another notable role. In 2012's The Dark Knight Rises, Ben Mendelsohn played John Daggett. Yes, for some reason, they changed Daggett's first name. Despite that, this version of Daggett had the same level of villainy as his cartoon counterpart. Once again, Daggett was causing trouble for バットマン and Catwoman, but this time, Daggett was working with Bane. Daggett was an obscure villain, so it was very cool that he got to be in a blockbuster film.

Overall, Roland Daggett might just seem like a greedy businessman, but he's one villain that Batman, Catwoman and the city of Gotham need to watch out for.
Nowadays, superhero films are a common thing. We get about ten superhero blockbusters a year. However, that wasn't always the case. There was a time where superhero films weren't very 人気 または successful. Sure, there were plenty of superhero-themed movie serials in the 1940's, but those types of 映画 eventually went out of style.

In the 1950's and 60's, there were barely any superhero films. 1966 brought us Batman: The Movie, which was a wonderful film, but aside from that, there wasn't much going on in the world of superheroes.

There wasn't much superhero stuff in the 1970's, but things...

When it comes to anime, Code Geass stands out from the crowd. It's one of the greatest animes of all time, in addition to being one of the best shows of any genre. Before watching it, I saw that it had potential. However, I could never have predicated how great the series would be. There's so many things that make the 表示する what it is. However, there's three particular elements that make the 表示する the best. This 記事 is for discussing those particular attributes. I could go into detail about the songs, 音楽 and action, but it would take hours to explain every reason why Code Geass is the...

When people think about Christopher Reeve's first two スーパーマン films, they tend to think of them with fondness and love. However, the 3rd and 4th films got a much different response. スーパーマン 3 is often regarded as a mediocre sequel, while スーパーマン 4 is often considered to be one of the worst superhero films of all time. Personally, I don't agree. I believe that スーパーマン 3 and 4 are both charming tales in their own right.

1983's スーパーマン 3:

Superman 3 is often mocked for being a Richard Pryor comedy film, rather than a serious スーパーマン film. The スーパーマン films are もっと見る family-friendly than...

ディズニー has released a mini-series called WandaVision. The 表示する stars Wanda Maximoff and Vision, who are characters that were introduced in 2015's Avengers: Age Of Ultron. While I have greatly enjoyed some Marvel projects, such as Fox's X-Men films, I haven't been the biggest ファン of the Marvel films that were done によって Disney. Because of this, I was hesitant to watch WandaVision when it first came out. However, I eventually gave the 表示する a chance, and it turned out to be much better than I had anticipated.

Plot

I have to be vague about the plot, so I don't give away spoilers. WandaVision centers...

In 1991, the world was gifted with the release of Alyas バットマン en Robin, a バットマン parody from the Philippines. The film has gotten very little attention and 愛 in America, but I've fallen in 愛 with it. In the past thirty years, we've gotten far もっと見る superhero films than there's ever previously been. While lots of people adore the serious, sophisticated and dark films we've been getting, I desperately crave the eccentric appeal of the campy superheroes. I know that Alyas バットマン en Robin isn't a serious film with a deep story, but there's nothing wrong with that. Films are classified as...

When people think about the actors and 女優 who have played the バットマン characters, they likely think of the 60's バットマン cast and the cast members from the various カートゥーン and films that were done によって Warner Bros. I believe that all the casts are significant and worth celebrating, so it's my honor to highlight the cast of Alyas バットマン en Robin.

Alyas バットマン en Robin was a film that was scheduled to come out in 1989. However, Warner Bros. feared the film was trying to compete with their own バットマン film that they had coming out that year. Alyas バットマン en Robin was not officially made with...
