A Life is Lost

A young and beautiful she-cat sat in the shade of a towering pine tree. She was very tired. But she could not sleep. She longed to climb back into the roots of the pine, and lay with the two other queens. But she knew that if she did, that she would lie awake till dawn. It had been a long 日 full of patrols and hunting. All of the other warriors did this, but she was stuck in the Nursery looking after her kit who had not yet been named. She sighed, " I wish that I could hunt for my clanmates, instead of them having to hunt for me. It's a waste of time." She looked up...

Cripplefeather limped across the camp, looking for his beloved mate, Flowerbar.
He licked some blood off his face, and saw a weak warrior a few feet away. Blood tricked out of a huge gouge in her stomach. It was Kinkfur.
Cripplefeather limped over to her, but it was to late. Kinkfur layed her head on the ground.
"Oh, SkyClan," she whispered, then took her last breath.
Cripplefeather bowed his head for her, and continued looking for Flowerbar.

Halkpaw and Berrynose arrived at Flowerbar again. She moaned louder.
Cresentmoon looked at Halkpaw.
"Where's Treeleaf?" she mewed.
"There's no time...
