In the season 3 dvd set the writers comment at that moment and they refer to it as a big brother/little sister one..
I think that this is RIDICULOUS!I know what I saw! And especially Daniel's eyes were saying many things!(They could at least have said that it is a scene between best friends!)

However, I have no siblings..
So, regardless if you're a Detty fan or not, what I'm asking you is if you have a brother or sister can you imagine youself acting like that or would it be too weired??

detty4ever- i don't need to hear the opinions of those writers to know that that scene implied something more than just brother/sister. also the way daniel said those words to betty, they do not sound like they were siblings.

You are not crazy! The writer's are!!! No matter what that was one of the best detty moments ever and that was more then friendship and brother/sister thing going on.... Suck it writers and Slivio Horta!!!!

This is my favourite Detty moment so far and it was a huge disappontment to hear that from the writers! I don't know what on earth were they thinking!

It's clearly NOT a bro/sis moment, except of course if the writers have a very sick idea of what they mean when they say brother and sister!
