I sped through the forest, gracefulling jumping over uprooted greenery. As my backpack was swinging side to side I felt a brush of 毛皮 hit my cream marble hand. I smiled softly and turned to see the familiar rust colored 狼, オオカミ bouncing over roots and vines. I saw a gleam of happiness flash across it's hazel brown eyes. I looked back to the path in front of me and bent a little lower and took off at an insane speed. In that moment leaves showered the air and I laughed. The crunching Colors（色） covered my eyes and.. even though I'd seem the most graceful being on earth, a vampire. I was still half human, so like a normal person, I tripped. Jacob, the 狼, オオカミ sped up and flew under me. I immediatly felt 毛皮 then very warm skin. I closed my eyes and smiled. I transfered the 画像 and emotions I felt through my palm and into his carmel, toned forearm.
`Thanks, Jacob.` I whispered mentally.
He smiled and nodded.
"No problem."
Jacob and I, had become very good フレンズ since I'd come into this world. My power allowed us to talk secretly. So, we had a lot of fun together. In the past, he'd saved me many times. Since I'm half human, I'm not perfect. But, Jacob thinks so.
I smiled at the memory. After that, I jumped unessesarily high out of his arms and sped across the leaves again. He cried out
"No fair, Nessie!"
I laughed to myself, throwing my head back and pushing myself to go faster than him. Eventually he caught up to me though. We ran our usual route then ended up at my school. I hugged Jacob good-bye then headed a normal speed up to the school doors. I pushed the glass doors, that seemed heavy to normal humans, open easily and dragged my backpack to my locker. I unconciously wound the blackish knob with white lines to the right numbers. I tried very hard to act normal at my school, Mom and Dad had taught me to try to fit in with the other human kids. I jerked the locker handle up with very little force 芝居 as if it were heavy then letting out a puff of releived air.
I stepped into the classroom with my 本 and pencil. I glanced around the room to look for my best friend. Rachel Vuan. She was a very kind hearted and easy going person. She knew how I talked, yet, she kept it a secret which made me very happy and at ease with her. She had short black hair and a ハート, 心 shaped face. She was a very light shade of brown, lighter than Jacob anyway. Eyes the color of a dark moss were set to her ハート, 心 shaped face, and thin ピンク lips were arched into a smile at the bottom.
I walked over to my シート, 座席 次 to her, and touched her arm lightly with my hand.
`Hey, Rachel, how was your weekend?` I asked in my head.
She reponded the way she always did. Pen and paper. She wrote 'Boring.' in a light scribble. I looked at her, then pressed my palm to her shoulder.
`Is something bothering you? あなた know あなた can tell me.`
'No.. nothing really. It's just that guy over there.. He keeps looking at me and smiling. It's kind of creepy.'
I examined the boy. His features were prominent. Almost fake. His skin was a light cream like mine yet his face was angelic, glowing with happiness and hope. Confusion spread across my face. What was that feeling? A string of daydreams drifted across the lids of my eyes. Replaying the boys smile, sharp canines jutted from the normal mouth line. Fear struck my veins. Another vampire?
Class ended, but I was still dazed. Why hadn't I noticed this boy before. I almost forgot to ask Rachel that. I ran up to 登録する her at her locker. I grazed her forearm and asked in my mind
`Is that boy new? I've never seen him before.`
She passed me a scrap of paper that read
'Yeah. He was introduced before あなた came.'
"Ah, I see." Uh oh. I'm not supposed to speak. If I do it sounds like I'm much older than I am. Which most real humans find scary. I immediatly covered my mouth, fear grasped my features.
"Don't worry, no one heard you." She whispered encouragingly.
"I did." The voice sent a shock down my spine, my eyes widened and I almost dropped my books.
His voice! It was like mine. We both sounded older than we looked, much older. His voice was deep and harmonic. Blood flew to my cheeks but I immediatly recovered. I knew what he was. So, I decided to 表示する him what he was.
I reached my arm out to his biscep and let the pictures behind my eyes flow through the small connection we had between our skin.
After the 画像 had passed, he smiled. He passes a crumpled piece of paper to me. Ink was smudged in various places but I could make out the words.

I nodded to him. He scribbled down on another white lined scrap.

I glanced up at him. His carmel hair falling just eye level. He kind of looked like he'd been running then took a very quick stop. All of his hair was blown forth from the back. I smiled. His nose was small and triangular. His hands were large and very pale. He was strong. He seemed toned and very well built. I sent an image through the small path
`And, what is that?`
He flipped his brown hair to one side and smiled widely then whispered
"Guess you'll just have to see. Rachel I want あなた to come too. This could get interesting."
He walked off swinging his backpack to one shoulder.
I grabbed Rachel's hands and yelled in my head
`Hes a vampire, like me, Rachel! Isn't he cute though. I think he likes you!` I giggled and poke her in the side. She flinched and started to laugh.
"In my dreams.." She 発言しました unconfindently.
`Aw, cheer up. Let's follow him!`
"Fine.. Nothing weird though, okay?"
