"Well, um, Bella I didn't imprint on Katie," Jacob said

"I'm not buying it," I said.

"I know it's hard to believe. And I know that she kissed my cheek. And I'm not trying to offend her but, she thinks that I am going out with her. But I'm not, because I imprinted on someone else," Jacob said.

"Then who is she?"

"She's my Dad's old フレンズ daughter. And she moved here. And I have to be her friend. But, she doesn't get that we aren't a couple," Jacob said, while shaking his head.

There was a moment of silence. He was probably thinking about if he should answer または if he should just avoid the question. I heard Jacob mumble something but I couldn't make out what he said.

I dialed my cell. Alice answered.

"Hey! How'd it go?" Alice said.

"Great. But I don't have someone to drive me home," I said, annoyed at Alice for leaving me here.

"I thought Jacob would drive あなた home," Alice said, confused.

"He is dealing with Katie," I said, as if it should be obvious.

"Oh, don't worry. I will be there soon!" Alice said, then hung up.

I sat down on the steps that led up to the door of Jacob's house. I was thinking about how I could call Jacob, 'My Jacob', again. I couldn't get the smile off my face. He imprinted on me. He really imprinted on me. I was 空想 when Alice arrived to pick me up.

"Earth to Bella," Alice said.

I gasped, then realized that it was only Alice.

"Alice あなた scared me!" I said.

"So how did it go?" Alice said.

"Great! Thank あなた so much I don't know how to repay you!" I said, standing up.

"You don't have to!" Alice said, then she hugged me. "Come on, あなた can tell me all about it on the way to your house!" Alice said.

"Okay!" I said, following her to her car.
