End of Part 13

I couldn't remember the last time I ate, and with Bella sitting on my lap, her blood so close I found myself starting to be distracted. I felt myself stiffen, the smell making my mouth flood.

"Oh." She 発言しました as she pulled herself away from me, sitting on the ソファー, ソファ 次 to me. "Sorry."

"It's my own fault, It's been too long since I hunted. I shouldn't let myself get so thirsty. But I was in a bit of a hurry to get here." I 発言しました as I glared at her. "Speaking of which, would あなた like to explain to me how you're alive?"

A look of understanding flashed across her face.

"Oh...you saw me fall." She 発言しました as she swallowed loudly.

"NO" I disagreed "I saw あなた jump" I 発言しました as I looked at her and the way she was sitting. Her face was shallower, she was not eating enough. Her color was pale, and that's saying a lot coming from me, and the way she held herself...it broke my heart.

Part 14

I sat there watching her Edward's voice echoing through my head "You promised not to look." I shook my head before continuing.

"I told him that this would happen, but he didn't believe me 'Bella promised.' he told me." I 発言しました as I did my best Edward impression. "Don't be looking for her future, either. We've done enough damage." I finished shaking my head, knowing how mad he would be at me.

"But just because I'm not looking, doesn't mean I don't see. I wasn't keeping tabs on you, I swear. It's just that I'm already attuned to you, when I saw あなた jumping. I didn't think, I just got on a plane. I knew I would be too late." I whispered. "But I couldn't sit and do nothing!! And then I get here, thinking I could held Charlie somehow, and あなた drive up." I 発言しました as I gave her a look, the confusion 表示中 in my tone. "I saw あなた go into the water and I waited and waited for あなた to come up, but あなた didn't. What happened? And how could あなた do that to your dad? Did あなた stop to think what this would do to him? And my brother? Do あなた have ANY idea what Edward-" I 発言しました as my voice started to get louder because of my anger.

Bella jumped a little when I 発言しました Edwards name, I don't think she realized that she did it, but I certainly did.

"Alice, I wasn't committing suicide." She 発言しました as she interrupted my sentence.

I shot her a look, I know what I saw how could she try to convince me that what I saw was wrong? "Are あなた saying あなた didn't jump off a cliff?" I challenged.

"No, but..it was for recreational proposes only." She explained.

I didn't believe her, she had been so 安全, 安全です and careful the whole time I have known her, why would she jump off a cliff for fun? I was trying to figure out all of this when she interrupted my thoughts with もっと見る explanations.

"I had seen some of Jacob's フレンズ cliff diving. It looked like...fun, and I was bored..." She 発言しました obviously hoping this would be enough of an answer. She quickly realized that she was wrong and continued her explanation.

"I didn't think about how the storm would affect the currents. Actually, I didn't think about the water much at all." She 発言しました as she shook her head.

I didn't buy this for a minute, Bella cliff diving? Yeah, that wasn't possible. Why would any sane person jump off a cliff for a good time? She was defiantly trying to convince me that she didn't attempt suicide, I wasn't convinced によって any means. I looked her straight in the eyes, letting her know that I didn't believe her for a second.

"So...if あなた saw me go in the water, why didn't あなた see Jacob?" She challenged.

Who was Jacob? Why would I have seen him? I was confused for a 秒 and felt my head cock to the side in confusion.

"It's true that I probably would have drowned if Jacob hadn't jumped in after me. Well, okay, there's no probably about it. But he did, and he pulled me out, and I guess he towed me back to the shore, though I was kind of out for that part. It couldn't have been もっと見る then a 分 that I was under before he grabbed me. I went back and re-watched the vision from earlier. I saw her get up on her toes, arms out stretched and jump. I saw her falling and then she was gone..how is this possible. My visions had not been wrong before, is it possible that they were beginning to fail me now?

I was seriously questioning myself when the breeze from the window sent a new scent in my face. I slowly leaned closer to her and sniffed her shoulder, Bella froze when I got that close.

"Don't be ridiculous." I 発言しました as I leaned in and sniffed her once more.

"What are あなた doing?" She asked, concerned that I had ロスト my mind.

"Who was with あなた out there just now? It sounded like あなた were arguing before あなた came in." I asked as I ワカサギ, 錬金術 her again.

"Jacob Black. He's...sort of my best friend. I guess. At least, he was.." She 発言しました as her thoughts caused her sentence to end.

I nodded quickly, ok she was in the car with this boy...this Jacob Black. Obviously they were arguing in the car, I could hear them inside and it didn't sound like he was happy she came in the house. She had this strange smell on her, I wondered if it could have come from him? Was he her new beau?? Oh no...was Edward right, had she moved on like he wanted her to?

"What?" Bella asked as she watched my face.

"I don't know, I'm not sure what all this means." I explained, not letting her know that I had some theories running in my mind.

"Well, I'm not dead at least."

I had to roll my eyes, her attitude about all of this was driving me mad. I couldn't focus on that right now, there were so many 質問 that had to be answered still. "So, if the currents were too much for you, how did this Jacob manage?" I asked.

"Jacob is...strong." She 発言しました as she stumbled over the last word.

I felt my eyebrows rise, the fact that she was trying to keep something from me was starting to make me mad. I know she realized this because as soon as my eyebrows went up she started gnawing on her lip. She took a deep breath before she could continue.

"See, well, he's...sort of a werewolf. The Quileutes turn into オオカミ when there are ヴァンパイア around. They knew Carlisle from a long time ago. Were あなた with Carlisle back then?" She asked as she rushed through her explanation.

I sat on the ソファー, ソファ dumbfounded. Did she just say that he was a werewolf?? Was that really possible? I had heard Carlilse, Edward, Emmett and Rosalie's stories before but I didn't think it was really possible. Maybe that would explain things to a point, I mean the way she smelled...like moss and 草 and trees..it was way too earthy and I didn't like it.

"Well, I guess that explains the smell. Buy does it explain what I didn't see?" I asked out loud as my face scrunched together.

"The smell?" She asked.

"You smell awful. A werewolf?? Are あなた sure about that!?" I asked as I frowned.

"Very sure." She 発言しました as she winced for some reason, her ハート, 心 rate suddenly rising. "I guess あなた weren't with Carlisle the last time there were 狼男 here in Forks?" She 発言しました as she tried to change the subject.

"No. I hadn't found him yet." I 発言しました as I continued to think about everything she said.

"You're best friend is a werewolf?" I asked in disbelief.

Bella took a deep breath and looked down at her hands as she nodded.

"How long has this been going on?" I asked.

"Not long." She 発言しました defensively. "He's only been a werewolf for a few weeks."

A werewolf for a few weeks? Oh my gosh what was she thinking?? I sat on the ソファー, ソファ staring at her, unable to make a sentence.

"A YOUNG werewolf? Even worse!! Edward was right...you are a magnet for danger. Weren't あなた suppose to stay out of trouble?" I challenged her.

She sat on the ソファー, ソファ trying to figure out how to answer this. She opened her mouth a few times before she attempted to answer. "There's nothing wrong with werewolves."

"Until they lose their tempers." I 発言しました angrily. "Leave it to you, Bella. Anyone else would have been better off when the vampire left town. But you....you have to start hanging out with the first monsters あなた find."
