Edward’s POV. I wrote this because bitten_byedward asked me to and also because I think あなた guys want to know what Edward was thinking when he left. It’s basically just a rambling of what Edward’s thinking. Incoherent thought and nonsensical rambling. Nothing amazing.



I gripped the steering wheel tightly with one hand and with the other I pinched the bridge of my nose. How could she take his side? A guy she’s barely met twice and she’s choosing him over me! I wanted to go back there and rip his throat out but I contained my anger. I would only upset Kayla if I killed Mitchell. But he deserved to die. I think he did at least. The little snippets of rage and revenge that he let slip in his mind. I didn’t exactly see who the rage and revenge were for because I was trying so hard not to read his mind. Kayla thought it impolite of me to listen to other people’s private thoughts. She never went into someone’s mind unless necessary. She had it easy. She could choose to read someone’s mind and she could easily back out too but I couldn’t. If only she would have read Mitchell’s mind she would have seen what an evil person he was. Evil is too strong a word. I guess it is jealousy like Kayla said. But didn’t I have a right to be jealous? Kayla is being literally dazzled によって another person. Only I could do that. How easily had I distracted her to get her ホーム when she wouldn’t leave ‘George’ alone? One キッス and she was mine. Sometimes it is only one look into my eyes and she goes weak at the knees. That’s one of the things I 愛 about her. She only reacts like that to me. And then in walks Mitchell with his blonde hair and blue eyes and she forgets her own name! An image of Kayla’s beautiful face confused, her green eyes clouded with doubt, entered my mind. She tried to say it was Mitchell’s apparent good looks but I knew it was something deeper. And I think I found what it was. I looked Mitchell directly in the eyes and he told me to go upstairs and I almost did. I felt my body moving to obey him but when I realised what I was doing I stopped. I stopped my body moving and that’s when it clicked. How he had gotten in Kayla’s house, how she was behaving like that. It wasn’t Mitchell’s good looks, it was Mitchell himself. I didn’t know how but it was like he could hypnotise people with his eyes. Was he an Azdi like Kayla? I didn’t know of any other race of people like Kayla. I don’t think even she knows if there is another race like her. If only she would speak to Charlie もっと見る about her heritage. It was be fascinating to hear. She doesn’t like to think about her Azdi heritage anymore. Ever since Jared bit her she feels like she isn’t one of them anymore. Carlisle has told her time and time again that he doesn’t know for sure what the venom will do to her and he can only guess. He says that it won’t age her but I know for certain that she does look もっと見る like a seventeen 年 old than a sixteen 年 old. Carlisle thinks that the venom will let her body age until she stops growing at eighteen. I couldn’t care less when she stops ageing as long as she is healthy and alive.
I needed to see Carlisle to speak to him about this. I needed his help. I was at my house now and I parked my car in the driveway and not in the ガレージ because I was intending to go back to see Kayla soon. I knew that her ハート, 心 would be breaking because I left her.
“Where’s Carlisle?” I asked as soon as I was in the living-room. Only Jasper and Emmett were there.
“Are あなた ok Edward?” Jasper asked me. He could feel the anger and fear that pounded through my body. Emmett looked at Jasper and then at me. He knew Jasper could feel something from me.
“Yeah, あなた ok, Edward?” Emmett asked. “You look kinda pale.”
I ignored his ‘witty’ remark and spoke only to Jasper who knew I was panicking.
“I need Carlisle, where is he?”
“He was called into the hospital,” Jasper answered. “Big emergency. A six car pile up apparently. こんにちは calm down, don’t panic, あなた can see him later. I thought あなた were supposed to be at Kayla’s revising? Oh, あなた and Kayla had another argument. A really big argument.”
Jasper was responding to all the emotions that were radiating off me and he could feel. It was amazing how he could have a conversation with me just through my emotions.
“Edward, are あなた secretly freaking out and only Jasper can tell?”
Emmett was annoyed with the one way conversation that he couldn’t 登録する in with.
“What happened between あなた and Kayla?” Jasper asked. “It isn’t something stupid again, is it? I mean, last time it was because あなた didn’t want her to buy あなた that シャツ and she wanted to get あなた something because you’re always buying her.”
“No, it isn’t something stupid.” I was slightly annoyed that Jasper would think it was something stupid. Not all of mine and Kayla’s arguments are stupid. Some are, yes, but not all. “This is serious.”
“What’s up, Eddie?” Emmett grinned. “She falling for another guy? I bet he’s human, that would get あなた angry, wouldn’t it?”
Emmett laughed and I snarled at him. This wasn’t a laughing matter. Kayla was falling for someone else but it wasn’t through her own will. And he definitely wasn’t human.
“Jesus! She is falling for someone else!” Emmett was astounded that he got something right for once. あなた know what they say, when あなた put your mind to something.
Jasper eyes went suddenly sad. I think he secretly liked Kayla, after he got over the trying to eat あなた part.
“If she is going for someone else,” Jasper 発言しました slowly. “You know あなた can’t interfere. This could be your chance to get your life back. After she goes off with someone else, あなた won’t have to entertain her anymore.”
I snarled viciously at Jasper to 表示する that I wasn’t just ‘entertaining’ Kayla. I truly loved her and I couldn’t envision my life without her. If she were to leave me for someone else and she didn’t want me back then I suppose I couldn’t go on living. But as long as she needed me I would be here. And she needed me now.
“I was just saying,” Jasper said, quickly. “I didn’t really mean it. Calm down, your making me all angry now.”
“Sorry,” I said, looking down at my shoes. “I just don’t know what to do.”
“You’ll have to fight for her bro.” Emmett always thought violence was the way to solve a problem. “Get the guy and have it out with him. The winner gets the girl.”
“If I could I would, Emmett, believe me but it would only upset her. The guy has her under a spell, literally.”
“What do あなた mean?” Jasper and Emmett asked together.
“It’s like he has her hypnotise. She is dazzled によって him, just like she is with me. All of あなた have seen how she is with me. I only have to look at her and she’ll follow me anywhere. She’s exactly like that with him. He even made her forget her own name.”
“Is he a vampire?” Jasper asked.
“Coz if he is we’ll get him.” Emmett smashed a fist into his open palm. “No one hits on our brother’s girl.”
“He’s not a vampire and I’m sure he’s not human. It’s his eyes. He almost had me obeying him but I managed to get control of my body.”
“Kayla isn’t stupid, Edward, she’ll see him for what he really is. Give her time to get over his dazzling qualities. Wait til she sees his ugly side.”
Jasper’s reassuring words did nothing to help me. It only made me feel worse. Would Kayla really see Mitchell for what he really was? Would she get over his dazzling qualities? Would she ever see an ugly side of him?
