They have always understood each other and even when they were with other people they both still held a speacial place in each others hearts! He's always saving her and she never gave up on him! So may roadblocks tried to stop them from getting together but they made it through it all! They were a tragic couple all the way through but they ended on a happy note! They are controversial but still managed to draw people to them! They're this epic amazing meant to be couple and I can go on for days giving reasons on why they're my otp!
why? epic story. sparkling chemistry. parallers. solid bulid up. two diffrent people changing for each other. fabulous themes. unforgetable quotes. hot kisses. hearbreaking angst. sweet flirts. playfull moments. they have got it all ♥
I'll never understand how people can overlook all of their greatness, and hate them simply because of the fact that they cheated with each other a couple of times. IMO their positive qualities FAR outweigh the fact that they hurt a couple people along the way, out of their love for each other.
...And that's why they are, and will ALWAYS be my OTP <333
It's difficult to find a short explanation for why Buffy & Angel are my favorite couple... so this is my MUCH abbreviated version (which will prob still be long).
Buffy & Angel had one of the first (if not THE first) television forbidden love stories targeting young viewers. Buffy & Angel were so insanely in love with each other, and their love was always mutual and equal. They connected in the strongest way any two beings could. They could even feel each other's presence- they didn't need to see or even hear each other to know the other was there. They fought together side by side, but also fought for each other. Time and time again they put their lives on the line to save each other and protect one another (emotionally and physically)- constantly risking their lives for each other (and BOTH of them did that). Buffy made Angel the happiest he ever was, and Angel sacrificed that happiness and everything he ever wanted in order to save Buffy's life and in order for her to live a happy fulfilled life. They had so much respect for one another and never undermined the other or underestimated what the other was capable of. They were never threatened by the other's strength because they knew it did not diminish their own strength... they were only proud of each other. They really believed in each other- and because of that they both became true heroes. Saying their relationship was deep and meaningful is an extreme understatement. They taught each other so much about life, love, and sacrifice. Angel guided Buffy through her struggles and journey as a slayer, and Buffy (despite being 230 years younger than Angel) taught Angel what it meant to be a hero, why life was worth fighting for, and what the greater good was all about. They would have been completely different beings had they never met and fallen in love.
By no means was their relationship a happy, healthy, stable relationship. A vampire with a soul who loses his soul when he has sex with the woman he's in love with and becomes a mass murderer? Nah, not healthy or stable. They made each other so happy, but they also spent so much of the time heart broken when they couldn't be together or when Angel turned into Angelus. But instead of being happy, healthy, and stable- it was a consuming, passionate, dark, can't live without each other, tragic love story. It's entertaining television that tugs at your heart strings and makes you cry your eyes out. It's the perfect balance between true love and tragedy.
Plus they were just so adorable and SO sexy together and the way they would look at each other just made my heart melt! Their chemistry was outrageous and their relationship was acted out so well that I could feel everything they were feeling as I watched the show.
And that's my shortened version :-/
Their my OTP because they are the only ones who truly understand and care for each other. There is something just THERE when they're together.
Tony and Ziva well basically everything I said about DE, they have been building up for 7 seasons now, their chemistry, their story, the things they would do for each other, literally go to the end of the world for each other<3
There are so many reasons why they're my OTP I don't even know where to start. Firstly Gale and Randy had great chemistry together, chemistry is a huge thing for me if I find a pairing that has it I will most likely ship 'em. Secondly their relationship could have came off very icky, having a 29 year old man start a sexual relationship with a 17 year old virgin who is just coming to terms with his sexuality could have been awkward to watch but IMO it really wasn't. They sold the passion and the sweetness. At the beginning of the series Brian and Justin meet and have a one night stand, Justin falls for Brian immediately, Brian dismisses him and tells him he doesn't "believe in love he believes in fucking" but Justin pursues Brian hard and becomes the guy that Brian hooks up with more than once and their relationship just continued to deepen and turn into something more. I loved watching Brian grow throughout the seasons and the reason he started to mature and open himself up to love is Justin. Admittedly I'm a sucker for couples where the bad boy falls in love and softens over time.
I love how they went from this:

These are only season one clips in case anyone cares.
Oh and finally their sex scenes. =P
THEY ARE PERFECT

Couldn't agree more! <3
Ever since being turned Spike had been special. While other vampires wanted to feel less, Spike wanted to feel more. He needed something more than just feeling blood thirst, anger and fear - things that limited other vampires' feelings, unlike them Spike wanted to feel everything. That's why he kept searching for a slayer and dreamed about killing her while other vampires where afraid of meeting one. And that's why when he loved a slayer, he let this love take over him and inspire him to do the craziest things for a vampire: be selfless, be brave, be good. He knew that the fight against his nature was lost by default, and yet he challenged himself, he challenged the laws, he challenged the whole concept of being a vampire. And he ended up doing something no other vampire in history ever did - fighting for his soul and getting it back. Spike was a rebel...
And so was Buffy Summers. Buffy was never like other slayers. Other slayers wouldn't let emotions and feelings take control over them, but Buffy lived and survived exactly because she was so passionate and emotional. Unlike other slayers, her power was in her ability to feel other than blocking her feelings. Just like Spike, she was a person of emotions. Just like Spike, she fought to the end to stay the way she is and not turn into a killing machine. Just like Spike she had so much love in her heart. And just like him she ended up doing something no other slayer ever - since the beginning of the world - did. Buffy challenged the basic nature of slayers and changed the system. Basically, she did the same that Spike did by getting his soul. She was a rebel like he was. This two where as different as you can imagine, but if you look deeper you will see that they where meant to be since the beginning just because of all those things, because they could do it together, because they walked through the darkness to finally find the light, because they where through everything and they where everything, because it was always them walking hand to hand and shoulder to shoulder, from being less than nothing to each other to becoming more than everything. This couple was very hard to ship. And yet, 10 years later, they still stay my number one OTP.
Buffy's last words on the show were "I love you" and "Spike". To me, this beats every single endgame.
From those Naley is BY FAR THE BEEST for the same reason!
