Nina... or whatever her name is, cannot act for shit. Even ants can act better, she makes delena so bad, i watched the dance scene, and its so overrated, she gave nothing out of it. Damon/Ian does all the work for that relationship.

No, Mon! It's too early to tell! I watched a Freffy fanvid and I'm convinced I'd like them but look at me now! LOL! IMO, it depends of the vidder (is there such a word?). Like some ppl are so awesome at vidding couples that you'd think you'd ship them right away. But when I watched the series proper, IMO, Freffy fell short of the awesomeness they had in the fanvid. So don't judge!

I love Delena. Yes, SOME people overrate them WAY more than what they deserve, but I still think they are an awesome couple and shouldn't be seen as overrated. I think they are popular for a reason. If you want to look at overrated couples, look at BEDWARD. That couple is the most overrated couple I've come across and they have over 10,000 fans on fanpop, WTH?!

Nina's not that bad. I HATED her on Degrassi (yeah, I've watched Degrassi..) she was so wooden and unlikable imo. But I think she's grown quite a bit. I know this is going to sound sacrilegious as a DE fan but I don't think the dance scene is all that amazing. I think DE are better when they're just casually bantering and my favorite moment is still when he puts the necklace back on her in 1x14.

Skate I have a love/hate thing with cause sometimes I can't stand Kate, particularly before. I'm just now starting to come around to her after rewatching the series. However I could never ship Jate because she idolizes Jack and follows him around the island while he constantly judges her. Jack has got to be one of my least favorite characters of all time. Season six has been the first season where I haven't wanted to punch him in the face and I think it's because he not trying to control everyone. I feel that Skate are more equal, I think they get each other in a different way - they're similar both having criminal pasts, they both have darkness to them.

Not to be creepy but looking at the different ships that you're a fan of I'd say if you watched the shows properly you'd like DE and SK.

I used to like Skate in the first 3 seasons, maybe 4. But Sawyer is my fave, and Kate started to annoy me, she doesn't deserve him, so I don't ship them anymore. I don't care what Kate does, I just want my baby Sawyer happily ever after with his Jules ♥

Wait, what about the fanbases? I actually think that Jate has the hugest fanbase on Lost, I don't even like them together, but they do. And still, the fact that a ship has a big fanbase doesn't make it "good", look at Twilight, it has the hugest fanbase EVER and it's not a good book.
And still, normally at least I can "know" which couple I'm going to like/dislike based on reading recaps and watching scenes on YT and/or fanvids, and all that stuff. I mean, it happened with Glee. I wasn't completely sure, but I thought I would like PQ and dislike PR and it happened.

Okay wow, you pretty much have to be really blind to not see the chemistry. Like seriously! And anyways it's not supposed to be all lovey dovey between Damon & Elena since she's with Stefan. Elena doesn't want to have any feelings for Damon. It's Damon who's gonna fall for her first. You're probably obviously unaware that there's a slow build up with Damon & Elena. It took them ages to even be classed as friends. Since you don't watch the show, you don't know anything about the characters & storylines and honestly shouldn't judge it all. I'm always open-minded with shows & couples until I know the full story, which you're obviously not.

I agree with her about the chemistry, I do see a lot between Nina and Ian as themselves in interviews and all, like, normal non-romantic chemistry, but as the characters I don't see it. Not even as non-romantic chemistry. I don't even see it on the books. IMO depends on every person to see or not see those kinds of things, there's no such thing as an undeniable truth in any kind.

I think that you should watch a little of a show so you can know what a couple has been through and why they do what they do and stuff like that.
But i agree that the number of fans a couple has doesnt mean you should like them. For example i dont like Leyton or Skate and they both have a lot of fans.

I think DE have great potential and I think they are rated just fine. Maybe people get a little carried away but what makes a couple overrated anyway? It seems that whenever a couple has a lot of fans people that don't like them immediately say they are overrated.

I don't anyone's insecure of anyone. Brucas still have a massive following even tho they won't be endgame - and if I'm not mistaken ppl still miss them and actively ship them. Chair has the majority of GG fans rooting for them to end up together & stay together. They have fans who are either fans of their friendship, relationship or both. DE's story hasn't even started yet on the show. It can't compete with these two ships as of yet. And its not likely too either. Ppl have polar reactions to DE and TVD fandom is pretty split, there isn't a mjority fanbase.
