HALLUCINATION
Derek’s Perspective
I wake up in a hospital. Someone was hanging over me. It was kind of creepy. I looked around and realized I was the one in the hospital bed. I stared up at the person looking down at me.
I asked, “Why am I in a hospital, and who are you?”
They responded, “You were in a coma. あなた drank too much diet soda. あなた passed out. あなた kept screaming out, ‘CARTER! CARTER!’ and flailing your arms around. あなた kept saying, ‘Why, Jesse, why?’ We had to put あなた in a straightjacket so あなた wouldn’t harm yourself または others.”
“Okay, but who are you?”
“I’m your mother, dear. Now take a bite out of these Spaghettios!”
“So was all of that a hallucination?!”
“I suppose so.”
“Where’s my girlfriend?!”
“Dear, you’ve been single for 10 years now.”
“Wait, how old am I then?”
“You’re 32, dear.”
“Wow, I’m a loser, aren’t I?”
“No comment. Anyways, I do believe that あなた are ready to go home, yes?”
“I guess. One もっと見る question, though. Are あなた a hallucination, too?”
She chuckled, “No, dear, I am not a hallucination. Let’s get あなた back to my house.”
“Okay, mum. Let’s head home."

One of my songs I wrote.
Luv is stronger than a whole red brick wall
Luv is stranger than a bird 9000 feet tall
When あなた compare a object with love
You'll see it will never fit on like a glove
With 愛 you'll see big consequences
But you'll never ever finish your sentence
愛 is really just too much stress for some
I think their crazy why look so glum
People just don't believe in love
But they always have to push everyone and shove
愛 is wrong
愛 is not
愛 is right
愛 is tight
愛 is strange
愛 can change
In a range
That's why I'm 歌う this song
