if he really was trying to kill himself he would have stacked dirctley to his heart but he stacked himself below his heart way blew i'm not saying he wasn't trying to save elena but he wasn't trying to kill himself i think he only wanted to HURT himself so he can't hurt elena but he wasn't really trying to kill himself he just wanted to hurt himself that's all
