We already knew that Damon, Stefan, Elena and Tyler were safe. Alaric was added to the safe list.

I heard that Steven McQueen and Candice Accola are returning to work (but don't know how reliable the sources are). but if that's true I think it will be Bonnie or Jenna.
I'm leaning more towards Jenna all of a sudden because I think her death would cause the most pain for the rest of the characters, specifically Elena, Jeremy and Alaric.

I have no idea :| Is Anna safe too?

I really would love to see her in season 2 but I'm not sure. Spoilers make it sound like she's not.

Matt won't as he was in all the books, Bonnie was as well, plus she is a popular character with lots of potential; Caroline, maybe but again she has lots of potential.

I am leaning more to Jenna out of her and Jeremy because her death would be the most dramatic and interesting because it would raise all these questions about what will happen to Elena and Jeremy and how will they cope with losing another loved one?!

I really hope it ISN'T Jeremy because I love him and again he has tons of potential. But as he wasn't in the books, he's fair game.

But please don't let it be Caroline or Matt! Bonnie can go, but I doubt she will.

*crosses fingers* or Matt...everyone else would be awful. I haven't read the spoilers, just that the deaths may be multiple, does the death have to be a series regular? Not that I want Sheriff Forbes to go, but that's better than losing some of the other characters.
