I liked Elena's hallutunations - creepy, but gave a great view of all Elena's fears, especially Kat & her mom (this one was really cruel).
Klaus showed a bit of his fragile side - I absolutely loved the scene when he said how he was tormented by the hunters ghost. And his quote to Caroline, about how he wouldn't let Tylor hurt her - perfect.
References to Alraric make my heart melt, I also think Forewood-drama over the hybrid was vert realistic- Caroline did immediately what she thought was the best, and it's so clear why Tyler was so mad!
I'm still curious about Shane & Jeremy as a hunter, even if I'm not sure I like it.
And DE feelings... Perfection! One ot the best episodes this season!
