The cars zoomed by.

“This makes me so nervous.” あなた say.

“Why?” Soda asks, smiling.

“What if the cars blow up, and we die? または what if they crash? Or-“

“But what if I’m eating ポップコーン and the cars blow up and we die?”

“Then I’ll blow up and die eating ポップコーン with the girl I love.”

“About having kids?” He asked. あなた were nervous.

“I’ve never told anyone this really… But it’s been my goal in life to be a better father figure than I ever was to Soda または Ponyboy… I thought I did a good job, but I know I could’ve done better.” He scratches his neck. “So yeah I’d want to have kids.”

Soda’s Perspective

“Daddy, do I look ok?” Grace asks. I put down my newspaper to look at my 15 年 old daughter. Wow.

“You look beautiful, sweetheart.” It pained me to see her going on her first date. But I was smiling.

“I’ll be good, Daddy, I promise.”

Darry’s P.O.V

“Daddy?” Danny asks from the back seat. He was six now, and Olivia was one.

“What happened to your mommy and daddy?” He asks.

I don’t answer for a minute, just keep driving. What do I say?

“My mommy and daddy are hanging out in heaven.” Is all I can think of to say.

“They’re partying with Jesus?” Danny asks. “That’s cool!”

“Yeah, bud,” I smile. “Partying with Jesus.”

“Ok, あなた remember how to go, accelerate, slow down and brake, right?” I ask (Y/N).

“Yes I do.” She says in that you’ve-told-me-a-million-times voice.

“Ok… Well are あなた sure あなた want to do this?” I ask nervously.

“I’m positive.” She says as she gives me a quick キッス on the lips.

“I swear, if あなた hurt yourself…” I shake my head.

The motorcycle starts, and goes forward. Instead of going with the motorcycle., she flips off backwards from it.

I immediately rush to (Y/N).

“Oh my god, (Y/N), are あなた ok? Are あなた hurt? Where are あなた hurt?” I say, head spinning. If she’s hurt badly I’ll just…

“Dally I’m fine.. The motorcycle-“

“Steve can fix the motorcycle. Are あなた ok? Where are あなた hurt? Do we need to go to the hospital?”

“Dally I’m fine!” She laughs.

“You worry me,” I say, as I scoop her into a hug.

あなた aren’t exactly sure what you’re humming to… But it’s something.

“Hey, (Y/N), have あなた seen my-” “THUD!” あなた rip open the シャワー curtain to see your boyfriend had tripped over the doorway.

“Oh my god, Two-Bit, are あなた ok?!?” あなた gasp.

He looks up at you. “Oh my god you’re in the shower!” He yells.

あなた yank the curtain back, covering yourself up.

“Two-Bit, are あなた ok honey?”you ask.

“After seeing that I’m not.” He says. “Damn, your beautiful.” He says, blushing.

“What a pig.” あなた laugh.

The yells from the lot were louder than ever.

あなた knew your boyfriend was there, and all his friends.

あなた hated it when they fought.

Those stupid fights.

あなた went over to lot, to make sure things weren’t getting out of hand. If they were, you’d definately call the police.

It would risk them getting arrested, but あなた didn’t want any of them hurt; または dead.

あなた saw bodies going at each other, caked in mud and blood.

あなた start to walk towards the fight (like an idiot) and are met with a パンチ to the face.

あなた fall into the mud, shocked によって the blow.

“Hey! That’s my girlfriend!” Soda yells as he pushes the Soc over, and starts beating him repeatedly.

“(Y/N), please stay out of this.” Darry says, eyes still locked on his younger brother.

“She has a point.” Ponyboy snorts.

“Don’t use that tone with me, young man.” Darry says, voice raised.

“Who went and made あなた dad?” Ponyboy asked, shrugging his shoulders.

“You take that back.” Darry says, lunging for Ponyboy.

They start beating up on each other, nothing serious. Brothers will be brothers.

“Hey! Knock it off!” あなた say, trying to separate them on the ground.

Smack!

あなた fall back, the hit getting あなた hard.

The boys freeze, realizing they’ve hit you.

“Ow!” あなた say. “That was my boob!”

They burst out laughing.

Light cracked the sky open. The crash that followed jolted あなた awake. あなた sit up in your bed, wide eyed with fear.

あなた had been afraid of thunderstorms since あなた were little… something about it just frightened あなた to no end.

The sound of your boyfriend breathing calmed あなた down. The rhythmic deep breathing soothed you, only for a second.

Another crack lit up the sky, with a giant boom that followed.

“Dally.” あなた shake your boyfriend awake.

“Babe… what’s the ma-” He stops as he sees your eyes, wide with fear. He sits up straight and wraps his arms around あなた pulling あなた close. “You’re fine… You’re fine.” He whispers, rocking あなた back and forth. “I got you. I promise. I got you.” Hands running through your hair.

“I just don’t like them.” あなた mumble into his bare chest.

“I know. I know.” He say. “But I still got you. I promise.”

But あなた were already asleep again.
