Dude, I kept thinking the same thing during the whole movie! I mean, he has no good air which means there aren't any plants that he can eat または something. Who knows?

He actually ate pancakes, and marshmallows(Only from ted though). あなた can see the パンケーキ when he opens the door to walk outside towards the end of the movie.
