Aaron Paul Joins Jamie Dornan in \'The Ninth Life of Louis Drax\'

Paul will be the father of a brilliant and strange child who curiously survives from falling off a cliff.

Aaron Paul signed on to star in "The Ninth Life of Louis Drax" which already has "Fifty Shades of Grey" star Jamie Dornan on board. Alexander Aja is directing the Miramax thriller.

Paul will play the father of the titular character. Based on Liz Jensen\'s best-selling novel, the film centers on the brilliant and strange Louis Drax. Every year something violent seems to happen to him. On his ninth birthday, Louis goes on a picnic with his parents and falls off a cliff. The details are shrouded in mystery. Louis\' mother is shell-shocked while his father has vanished.

And after some confusion Louis himself, miraculously alive but deep in a coma. In order to reveal the strange circumstances surrounding the young boy\'s accident - Dr. Allan Pascal (Dornan) is drawn into a thrilling mystery, testing the boundaries of fantasy and reality.

Script is written by Max Minghella who also produces the movie along with Aja, Tim Bricknell and Shawn Williamson. Principal photography is scheduled to begin next month in Vancouver.
