ライオン・キング Article: The Lion King Remake

Rumours persist that ディズニー intend to film all the old school animated 映画 as live-action remakes. If a Lion King remake is green lighted, here is how I think they should proceed:

1. Make an adaptation of the musical- with "The Madness of King Scar" intact. That song, along with the "One によって One" sequence, gives us a touch もっと見る detail as to why the Pride Lands went to hell during Scar's time as king. The original movie is kind of like "Fuck you, The Pride Lands are falling because Scar is the bad guy!" whereas the MUSICAL establishes the fact that the hyenas are destroying the Pride Lands.

2. Utilise "He Lives In You". I can see Mufasa 歌う that.

3. Seeing the animal's faces 移動する is a little bit alienating. It's like watching the イヌ talk in Snow Buddies. Maybe their lines could be like an inner monologue または something. あなた know like the Snake from Conan The Barbarian または Wishbone from Wishbone.

4. DO NOT MAKE THIS CGI OK! THAT WOULD SUCK! IT WOULD BE A SLAP IN THE FACE TO ファン EVERYWHERE!

5. もっと見る time with Nala; we got that in the musical and it WORKED! In the movie, it's a coincidence that she just so HAPPENED to be in the same jungle as Simba. And it's never really established why she was looking for help... but in the musical she is a もっと見る sympathetic character. Scar was hitting on her in a way that would make HAYDEN CHRISTENSEN LOOK SMOOTH!

glelsey Some nice ideas here. :) I must admit I've not been following Disney's live action remakes myself, so I'm not sure what kind of opinion I would have on them. I think I agree with all your ideas here, though. Trying to make live action animals look like they're talking always looks wrong to me, so I'd be happy for them to... not do that. I also agree about your comments regarding the stage show - while I love the original movie, the musical does go into more explanation about certain aspects that were never fully explored in the film. I have my doubts that they would use much in the way of CGI in a live action film like this, but I agree with you on that too. It's simply not needed. I personally am a little skeptical that Disney would go on to make a live action version of a film that contains no humans. Especially a film starring animals that are above us in the food chain! There would be safety concerns regarding animal cruelty - and in this case the safety of the crew may also be an issue - and the cast consists of a range of animals that would not get along in reality. It is interesting to think about though, and I enjoyed reading your suggestions, should a live action Lion King ever happen. Nice one! :)

Primeysgirl They should remake the lion king into an realistic movie. That would be so cool.

The Lion Guard sucks, BUT...

I think everyone who has seen "The Lion King" and "The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride" 映画 can agree that "The Lion Guard" doesn't do
a very good job with fitting in there. I have only seen all of "The Return of the Roar" and several clips from some other episodes. But that's enough to conclude that this TV 表示する fails miserably as a Lion King series. I'm sure the majority of my fellow Millenials from this fanbase agree with me, but I know there are Lion King ファン who nonetheless enjoy and 愛 this new series. ファン who don't think it sucks. Good for you, guys, if あなた can find something to enjoy...
