The Kane Chronicles Article: Sadie and Carter: question, 回答

Sadie and Carter Kane, ヒーローズ of the Kane chronicles, have left the series leaving us with questions. I'll try to give my theories and explain my questions, plus answerring some my フレンズ have told me.

Sadie and Carter gave up being hosts to gods Horus and Isis. They still have the necklaces, so will they ever take them back? In my opinion yes. Its a great temptation to power, and once before we saw that they can work very well together. They still have the charms so if they put them on, Isis and Horus would come back.
Also, there is a war coming, putting the house of life and the gods vs Bast's little friend. That kind of power would be needed in war, making Sadie and Carter even もっと見る powerful magicians then they are.
I think that they will also soon realise that the necklaces are practicly screeming out "Steal me! Steal me!" (. Althougth they are in Amos' house, it is possible to sabotage the defences and get in the house, therefore the としょうかん, ライブラリ as well.
Would Horus and Isis be mad at Sadie and Carter for not accepting to be hosts? Not likely. They seemed in good terms last time they met.
Is Set going to keep his word and help them take out Bast's enemy? I think he will, and if he doesn't he'll get pretty beaten-up and yelled at ect, ect によって the other gods. But in the end I'll think he'll come threw.
Zia (well, a Zia replica) told the siblings that magicians often had a specialty. Carter's is sword fighting according to me, but Sadie?
Could she be a diviner like her mom? I think so. As あなた may recall, before going to the first nome from a museum, Sadie knew that Zia was going to use ribbons to banish Serqet from her host.
Carter also states that Sadie is good at details, while rebuilding Amos' mansion. Something to do with the arts maybe? (I'm not sure if they ever truly 発言しました something about that, if they have please let me know)
Any other theories?

athenartemis Excellent article! My theory: I remember Rick mentioning that this book featured his favorite mythological god (or I'm confusing it with the Heroes of Olympus). Well, on his official website, 5 gods not featured in book 1 are listed (Bes, Khonsu, Nekhbet, Babi, and Tawaret). Out of these gods, I imagine dwarf-like nice guy Bes is the god Rick is referring to. Also, I think Nekhbet and Babi will be fought by the Kanes, because, as the vulture goddess and alpha-male wild baboon god, they both enjoy tasty, tasty entrails. Khonsu I've only heard of in one myth, so he isn't all that important, and will probably appear in a dream. As for Tawaret, I can't place her, maybe they'll have to pay a visit to the nice pregnant hippo goddess for info in order to resurrect Ra.

HecateA Yeah, that makes sense to me! Goodness, you know a lot about Egyptian myths! In Greek mythology, Rick says he likes Athena because she was helpful and Poseidon. So maybe the same will happen here? Not sure, but I see Rick Riordan being fond of a little elf guy...

athenartemis Thank you! I got most of the info from the website, but I knew a little bit before reading it. I forgot this yesterday, but Bes was usually depicted front-ways, unlike most gods because he was supposed to take on bad guys head-on. Also, he was said to protect kids, so he may sort of be like Bast and keep the Kanes safe. Speaking of Bast, will she join our heroes to resurrect Ra? We know he must be fond of her, trusting her to fight Apophis, but will she have to stick around New York to watch over the trainees? That responsibility could be left to Amos (if he's a little more stable than when we last saw him) or Jaz and Walt, so I really have no idea. Now one thing that has me totally stumped, where did Iskander hide the real Zia? I imagine she'd be kept at one of the nomes, but it would have to be like the Brooklyn nome, and play by it's own rules, accepting godlings. So where would that be?
