Just tell them that its a fictional book and give them reasons about how あなた think あなた are mature enough to read the books. This could be a bad idea but im just thinking....maybe あなた guys could read the 本 at the same time but on your own cuz then when yr done 読書 a chapter または whatever あなた guys could talk about whats going on in the book! But i think yr parents are being very unreasonable. Hopes this helps!

Tell her it's unrealistic, it's fiction. I mean, it could happen, but really? Tell her how good the 本 are supposed to be! If she still doesn't want あなた 読書 them, then あなた could be a good child and not または borrow them from a friend または something...

Tell her about the political stuff in the book because hey, parents like the government and rules!!!!
