Why is the female population so interested in "The Hunger Games" trilogy?

I'm just wondering. I made a アンケート asking what gender あなた are, and (at this time) mostly evey person who answered chose "female".

I have my own ideas why because I am a girl myself.
I'd like to know what others think.

That was one of my reasons too. It's nice to have female protagonist who won't let all the men do all the work.

I hate to believe that... but I think you're right. I've seen so much stuff (and I'm sure あなた all have too) about how people think Gale and Peeta are "hot". If あなた think that, in my opinion, あなた are missing the idea of the books.
