	AnastasiaGordy picked Dwarves: I hate elves beyond measure. I hate them even more than I Hate orcs! I hate them because they are selfish and they thing they are smart and the best bnut really they are nothing but assholes! They are tired of their long lives and they lost all happines (if they had any at all) and mostly BECAUSE THERE IS NO LOVE IN THEM! They suck at loving each other. Otherway dwarves arn't afraid to show that they love each other. They are bond and loyal and They love their kin! They love their family beyong everything else! and that's why I would much rather be dwarf than elf. I would like to be loved, unlike someones i guess. And suspicious and secretive with the worst manners you can possibly imagine, but they are also brave and kind and loyal to a fault. I've grown very fond of them' <--- So TRUE! :') Elves are too 'overrated' by Tolkien >< I especially hate this line: 'Already behind him among the goblin dead lay many men and many dwarves, and many a fair elf that should have lived yet long ages merrily in the wood.' On the other hand, I pity Dwarves. They are made by Tolkien to be known as 'sometimes politer in word than in deed.' Even Bilbo in the book doesn't like Dwarves. I cannot express how glad am I to find out that in the last movie, Bilbo consider Thorin as one of his friends! He really care about the Dwarves. <3 PJ really corrupted the Dwarves in the best way! Instead like in the book, during the battle of the five armies, Thorin was really wanted and needed by the dwarves of Iron Hills to join them to fight the goblins! Others reaction when Thorin and his companion smash through the wall of Erebor and join the battle: Movie: 'Dain," To the King! To the King!"' Book: 'They had forgotten Thorin! ... "To me! To me! Elves and Men! To me! O my kinsfolk!" Thorin cried, and his voice shook like a horn in the valley.' Notice the great difference??? ^_^ posted １年以上前.
