IDK cuz' he's kinda stuck-up and didn't go through what everyone did. Reyna killed her father, Leo's mom died, Percy's stepdad was abusive, Annabeth felt neglected, Frank's mom died, Piper was neglected, Hazel died and never saw her mother again, and Nico... Oh, gods, Nico.
But Jason's a nice kid, he's okay, I mean, Piper likes him. Also, he's helpful and fights alongside his friends.

I agree with @siverharmony4. I feel defensive for Jason when people talk crap about him. I'm like, 'Guys seriously, he's not that bad. He's nice and trying to make it up for his past mistakes...'. But at other times I just wonder why he is even in this book. I want to read Nico's Prospective or Percy's, not Jason's. But thats whats fan-fictions for, I guess....
