Did あなた notice something? Something, like, BIG. Like, OMGs-THE-SON-OF-NEPTUNE’S-FIRST-CHAPTER-CAME-OUT-ON-THE-OFFICIAL-WEBSITE big? Oh well, the first chapter of the Son of Neptune just came out. And so did the cover. And boy, have I got a cover analysis for YOU.

Let’s start with the main piece. That would be Percy. または presumably Percy seing as the guy has the first PoV of the book, dude on the cover is coming out of water that must be freezing cold, he is a ‘son of Neptune’ and he seems to be holding a magical item that is probably not his. Everyone has their own theories. He are a few of mine (if I did all of them you'd be 読書 this for days:P)

Theory 1:
Jason has been to one of the different camps before. Coach Hedge 発言しました something like, "I've never seen あなた before in my life." Think about it, the mist, maybe? He may not know it, but he's tricking everyone into thinking he's always been there. This might be one of my stronger theories, because Hedge did mention that he was probably good with the mist because he's never seen him and Piper is his girlfriend and Leo is his bestfriend, though he has no memory of them.
