Speedy's real name is Roy Harper.
Roy Harper was raised によって メリダとおそろしの森 Bow, a Navajo medicine chief after his father, a forest ranger, died in a forest fire.
Under メリダとおそろしの森 Bow's tutelage, Roy became a remarkable archer, and, after メリダとおそろしの森 Bow's death, Roy was adopted によって Oliver Queen, the Green Arrow, and became the Green Arrow's sidekick, "Speedy."
He was 与えられた the name after Green ARROW/アロー witnessed Roy's ability to string and 火災, 火 a bow in a matter of seconds, which he did to stop a robbery. GA then yelled while he clapped...
