When Trent finally got ホーム he parked his motorcycle outside of his garage. He went into his house,threw off his ヘルメット and headed into his room. There, he took off his leather ジャケット and slammed it on the ground.
After that,he sat down on his bed,put his hands on his face and cried. He felt really sad and lonely. misery and despare had finally got to him.

Trent's POV: My whole life blows! Not only did I leave my フレンズ behind but I ロスト everything! I ロスト my girlfriend to a total b@$^@#d. I ロスト my nerve to 表示する my face to public and I ロスト my dignity to go on living! I feel like such a jackass, that there's nothing I can do about it.And yet I feel that putting myself out of my misery would be the best thing.

And so with that he reached into his side-table drawers and pulled out his sharp fisherman's knife. As Trent wallowed in misery in his room,a car pulled up to his driveway. The person in the car was his father. When his dad got home,he immediately got out of his car, ran into the house and started calling him out.
"Trent!"he said,"Trenton!? Trenton,Austin,Mercury where are you??" But Trent didn't respond,that was until his dad got to his room.
"Trent?"he 発言しました as he was knocking at his door."Trent,I know your in there. Come out of your right now,please? Look son if your still alive, say something?"
"Go away dad,please?"He cried out.
"No way son,I'm not leaving unless we talk'now open this door."his dad said.

So, with that his dad went into his room,grabbed a スクリュードライバー, ねじ回し, スクリュー ドライバー that he could use as a skeleton key,and opened Trent's door.When he walked in he saw Trent on his bed,crying. Plus, he also noticed Trent's fisherman's ナイフ on the ground.
"Trent.? Tre-ent? Come on son,what's wrong,are あなた o.k.?"
"Nothing dad,I just don't want to be bothered."he 発言しました sadly.
"Oh really,then how come your fisherman's ナイフ is on the ground? あなた weren't going to do something stupid with it,were you?"his dad asked.
"I don't want to talk about it dad, just go away."Trent said.
"No son."his dad said,as he sat 次 to him."Now あなた listen and あなた listen good. I saw あなた on that aftermath 表示する but あなた didn't stay. Instead あなた left and came home. Why?" Trent didn't say anything. He just sat up on his bed.

"Trent,look son,I know how あなた feel. I saw it all on TV. But don't go killing yourself over a beautiful girl.I mean come on son,that's so not right. You've got a whole life ahead of you. Don't kill your self just because she doesn't 愛 あなた anymore."his dad said.
"But dad, she's all I ever wanted in a girl. I know it seems strange dad but can't あなた see how beautiful she was?" Trent said." I even saw right through her and made her smile."
"So あなた saw through her too,Eh son.?"his dad said."Well I guess she was special,in her own way son But still,you don't have to take your own life away just because she broke your heart. Let me tell あなた something son. When I was as young as あなた are, I had a girlfriend before I married your mom. And believe it または not, she broke my ハート, 心 too. The difference is that I didn't kill myself just because she left me for someone else. I just going on and on until I found that special someone. Better known as your mother."
"But dad,"Trent said,"it won't be the same without her.!"

"No."said Trent.

"No!"he said.
"Then son,listen to me eh. Don't throw your life away over some beautiful girl son."his father said.
With that,Trent put his arms around his dad. Hugged him and cried on his shoulder. His dad hugged him and patted his back saying,"That's alright son,it's alright. I 愛 you,your mother loves あなた and your sisters 愛 あなた too."
They hugged for a few 分 and then his father said"Hey Trent, how about some ice cream for nowI know あなた like ice cream and if I recall, it's whaty it took to get あなた to forget about your grand father's death.""Do we have any pistacio または mint chip? Those are my お気に入り dad."said Trent.
"Let's go and see son."he said. as they both got up they headed into the kitchen,together.
