The 'I Knew あなた Were Trouble' hitmaker sings the lead song for the anticipated film, which stars James Corden as Britain's Got Talent winner Potts, and co-wrote the uplifting track alongside Fun. guitarist Jack Antonoff. While the song has so far received a warm reaction and looks set to create another hit for Taylor, the country starlet admits she almost wasn't involved in the movie and had to fight her argument as to why she was right for the song.

“I had to fight to do this because I try to take a break in between albums and try to give people a 分 to not hear me on the radio,” Taylor explained to the BBC. “I had to go around and ask people, ‘Can I please, please put something out?’ Even though we’re supposed to be going quiet.”
“My management, my label were like, ‘No new 音楽 until the 次 album comes out’. Then I saw the movie and I was like, ‘I have to be a part of this,'” she added.
Taylor, 23, has scored several number ones and hit singles with tracks such as 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,' 'Love Story' and 'You Belong With Me,' and was recently broke a record for winning the prestigious Nashville Songwriters Association International award for the sixth time in a row, however, Taylor says that despite all her years of songwriting experience, 'Sweeter Than Fiction' has been her most challenging to date.
“I’ve never been so challenged as a songwriter. I’ve never learned so much. I’ve never just been so excited to 表示する up to the studio every day, just because あなた never know what we’re going to put together,” Taylor admitted.
