Tiana is a bit irritating

I saw TPATF last night and although I 愛 hand drawn アニメーション but I felt that there was something missing in this film. Sure it was sweet and funny but the songs were so forgettable I don’t even know the songs off によってハート, 心 like the songs in Tangled. So I am going to do an 記事 on the two to explain why I rather 塔の上のラプンツェル than PATF.

Characters

Princess & the frog

Tiana: First up its Tiana and I have to say she really irritates me I dunno why she’s like a pure rip off of Belle & シンデレラ in a different skin tone. Her 歌う is ok.

Naveen: One of the hottest ディズニー princes ever but my only problem I have with him is that he is a real ladies man honestly what if he breaks Tiana’s ハート, 心 and she would be miserable for the rest of her life. I 愛 how he says bedonsa( I know what he says but im not sure how to spell it).

Tangled

Rapunzel: I describe her as a caricature version of Mandy Moore because (well if あなた seen the film あなた will understand its all got to do with the hair). I like how she’s stubborn, adventurous, dainty, cute and a bit of a hippie. She has to be my favourite ディズニー Princess(first CGI princess since Fiona in Shrek) and I liked Mandy Moore as I was a ファン of her 音楽 since I was a child.

Flynn Rider aka Eugene Fitzherbert: I must say he is one hell of a prince/thief. His funny,charming,like Naveen a bit of a ladies man but not as bad as him,caring,loving, and very handsome. His like a combination of Johnny Depp(goatee beard/adventurous ways ) and Zac Levi(features). Plus あなた gotta 愛 his 歌う and his speaking voice.

Story

PATF: Princess and the frog is loosely based on a book called The Frog Prince and its about a hardworking waitress who dreams of opening up her own restaurant. She of course meets a frog who is a prince and was transformed as a frog によって a voodoo doctor. She kisses him and she too turns into a frog. They go on a crazy adventure together and even fall in love.

Tangled: A twisted version of the Brother’s Grimns fairytale and this one is about a handsome rogue thief who stumbles across a isolated tower and thinks that it’s the perfect place to hid his stolen crown little does he realise a beautiful maiden(who is a ロスト princess). She tells him that she is dreaming of seeing the lantern lights and of course he decides to bring her in a hair raising adventure that contains romance,death,heartwarming,hilarious consequences.

The reason why I think 塔の上のラプンツェル is better than PATF is because of the following:

#1 Hilarious charchters:Eugene Fitzherbert is hilarious(you should know that this is the strangest thing I have ever done how about a two out of three).

#2 Beautiful animation(the lantern scene was beautiful and the whole film had beautiful scenes).

#3 音楽 was memorable(I see the light, When will my life begin reprise 愛 these songs).Alan Menken says it all.

#4 A nice story: I like how Eugene Fitzherbert starts off as this sleazy arrogant moron who goes によって the name Flynn Rider and he becomes もっと見る caring and loving towards the middle of the film. I liked how he also saved Rapunzel’s life and sort of dies in the end only to be saved によって Rapunzel’s tears( as her hair was cut off in the end and turned to brown).

#5 Hilarious sidekicks: Pascal & Maximus 愛 these two.

#6 Nice happy ending: Loved the ending as I liked how Eugene became a Prince (Prince Eugene of Cornea LOL) and he didn’t marry Rapunzel until a few years later(according to the narrator which is Fitzherbert)and あなた see the lanterns in the end when あなた see Rapunzel’s real home(the castle).

#7 Hilarious villain: Mother Gothel she is so evil and cracked the woman is obsessed with being young LOL. She reminds me of Susan Sarandon meets Cher.

#8 Nice voice talents: Mandy Moore was perfect for the role and Zac Levi was very good as the voice of Flynn Rider aka Eugene Fitzherbert.

#9 A kind of film あなた wouldn’t get tired of : I 愛 watching clips of it despite the fact I saw it in 3D last month. I 愛 Rapunzel & Eugene’s relationship.

haynay24 Yeahhh !! Tangled (L)

CourtneyKatara I like both movies pretty much the same and the ending of TPATF was quick. But Naveen DID change at the end and wasn't cocky. Plus to me Naveen and Tiana had romantic scenes than Eugene and Rapunzel.

Magicalgirl12 I like Tangled better. I like the story to it better. I really like the music better and the characters. I do love drawn cartoon movies best but Tangled is as good as a drawn cartoon movie I think :D

faya27 My sister and I would agree with you. When we saw Tangled, we could tell that Disney was really trying to be creative with the story of Rapunzel and have fun with it. PatF had a good message but a few things that bugged me were: 1. Dr. Facilier's motives weren't explained well. 2. Some characters were a rip-off of other Disney characters (my bro. complained that Louis was a rip-off of Pumba and Naveen looked a bit too much like Eric only with Gaston's personality with some Aladdin). In Tangled, the story felt original and kept most of the classic scenes from Rapunzel (which I won't spoil). Also, the whole cast in Tangled had original personalities. None of the characters felt like they were carbon copies of past disney characters, which is good.

sunnyson I really like your point here. I like how you have valid reasons on why you like one more then the other but princess and the frog was made in 2009.

TangledLover3 Read the username. TANGLED HAS NOOOOOO COMPETITION!!!!!!! Its suprising how many people think it does, and its infuriating! But this is a good article, and, as Sunnyson said, you do have valid reasons. Thanks for finally proving my point!

KeeperSeeker I didn't really like Princess and the frog, to me it seemed thrown together, Tangled seemed like a Walt Disney movie, which is what I've been dying for, it reminded me of Aladdin and Beauty and the beast, Tangled is a real Disney movie!

blurayz3 Princess and the frog was good, but there was so much pressure built up by 'Its going to be the last hand drawn Disney film ever'that the story was soemtimes abit dull, the love between Navenne and Tiana was as pure and happened to quickly:Rapunzel and Eugine's love was built up over time, it didnt just happen because of music,they didnt go from hate to love, like Navenne and Tiana they went hate, friends, love, etc. and, i, as a guy can make this point that you couldnt;Rapunzel is alot hotter then Tiana, her attitude was abit stiff, Rapunzel was more fun loving and excitable, Tiana was abit high maintinence. Tangled's just better. Plus the title makes sense, unlike TPATF, because Tiana isnt a princess to begin with, and Navenne is hardly a Prince. Tangled is obvioulsy interperated through the idea of her hair tangling things, and the sense that the two's stories become tangled, completley by chance.:) Wow.I waffle.xD

tangledfan Princess and the Frog was good-ish. I didn't like most of the scenes. I only really liked three songs: Almost There, Friends on the Other Side and Dig a Little Deeper. Naveen was cute and funny, as was Lottie. Tiana was pretty, but not funny. Dr. Facilier (I agree with faya67) needs a life and a motive for evil. And what the heck is up with this creepy shadow thing? I loved Ray! Overall, PatF needs romance, comedy and good songs and quotes. Tangled, on the other hand, has ah-mazing scenery, songs, heroes, heroines, sidekicks, villains, romance comedy, scenes and quotes!

blurayz3 I'm a huge Jazz fan and I play Saxophone, but The jazzy music in PATF was waayyy to forgettable.

LisaForde2 I agree the music in PATF was so forgettable I rather Alan Menken's music by far than Randy Newman's which kinda suck.

PrincessLD I like both stories! Princess and the frog had a good story, but I don't like Tiana a lot, because Tiana was selfish with her, because she make herself not to have fun, or be happy for one moment in her life. Is good to have dreams and to work hard for that, but she also need to enjoy the life.Naveen was fun, I like his attitude make you laugh, and how cute was when he strated to fall in love with Tiana, but it was a little quick. We have no explanation of how he fell in love with her, when she was not a person who have feelings a lot.It have fun sidekicks, and a good jazz music( I love the jazz music), but Tangled was better. Tangled had a good chracters( Rapunzel and Eugene were fantastic in everything, voice, feelings, chracter, EVERYTHING), a good villian, good side kicks ( Especially Pascal), good story, great love story( Both were gorgeous), good songs( Especially I see the light), good animation ( The lanterns scene was fantastic)Everything about Tangled was perfect. I love both movies, both stories impressed me, but Tangled was better.
