Yes! Super sad :( I would've thought there might have been at least one happy Dean memory in Sammy somewhere. Dean practically raised him and tried to keep him as normal as possible for as long as he could. Maybe we just didn't get to see them all.

Sam and his cluelessness bugged the fuck out of me this episode.

He's not even doing it to be a dick .. he's just NATURALLY being a dick! which WTF?! I don't even know anymore man. I love Sam .. always have, always will (not as much as I love Dean - as i'm sure you can tell) but he needs to SHAPE UP or ship out. ;D

Now, we only did see 3 of them, I'm sure there're lots with Dean too, but yeah, it's sad that Sam puts the memories where he is bailing on his family over his family...

It's frankly depressing. I mean that first scene with Dean and little Sammy- why couldn't that have been one of Sam's happy moments too? I know we only got to see three of them but it makes it seem like all the efforts that Dean made over the years [the firecrackers for example] to make Sam's life bearable, were just not appreciated. And I had thought that Sam had finally realized/appreciated everything Dean did for him growing up. But he acted so frickin clueless about the pain he caused Dean...that I just don't know anymore. All I can say, is that at least at the end of the epi Sam hadn't given up. I know it's not his thing, but I'm hoping he can try to nurture Dean a bit, help him realize that all that is in the past. That they are in this together....

I think I'm the only one to actually think this though.

Just because they didnt show any doesnt mean he didnt have any at all, I think the Christmas episode when he gave Dean the necklace was a happy memory.

yeah,so fraking sad!! still can't believe his happy memories are when the ones when he escaped from his family....ok probably there are other momories....but it's very significant that Dean's first was with his brother while Sam hadn't any with him!

i agree with fanfly and ambra its very sad and depressing that sam's dreams where away from his family while dean's first one was with sam it really really pissed me off

that's y i love dean and can't stand sam. i mean dean was like a father to sam,and he is one of the greates older brothers in tv and he doesn't even realize it.

It honestly reminded my just how selfish Sam really is.

I don't see it as Sam being selfish or a dick... it's just that all his life, Sam wanted to be normal. Is that such a crime? All his memories with Dean dealt with the supernatural aspects of their life - he was just a baby when it all started and the Winchester family lost the ability to be normal. Dean at least had a taste of a normal life - the closest Sam got was Thanksgiving with Braceface. I think it's sad that that's all he has.

Yes, it's a little upsetting that Sam didn't have any Dean memories during last night's episode - but when did he ever have a normal day with Dean? I'm sure if they'd stayed in Heaven long enough, there would've been a few memories with his family.

Also, it was Heaven. Everyone sees it differently. I know Sam cares about Dean, and knows the things Dean went through to keep him alive & well, but the things he saw were what he always wanted - being normal. Being free.

Fucking bastard. Yes Dean had five years of getting "the crust cut off his PB&J" but you know what then? The rest of his life taking care of & putting Sam first. Sam said it himself, he didn't remember their mum enough to miss her so he didn't have to go through that pain. And for his whole life he had Dean putting him first and trying to protect him. Boo-fucking-hoo that that wasn't enough for Sam but it was a hell of a lot tougher for Dean and I guess he really shouldn't have bothered.

Well kinda, but it they just showed some happy memories, I bet there are happy memories with Dean, they just didn't show up. I'm pretty sure that the 4th of July event would be in Sam's happy memories, don't you think? Little Sammy looked so happy!

I was shocked and saddened that he didn't even have one. Considering everything Dean's done for him and given up for him.

I think Sam does have happy moments from growing up, and I think he has happy moments with Dean, I just think at that point in time he was too messed up with his own shit to think about Dean's, which is sad.
