Meg opened the door of her motel room to let Cas in. Cas widened his eyes. “Did あなた paint your hair?” he asked, glaring at the blonde wisps on Meg’s head.
“No, I woke up like this” Meg replied sarcastically. “The correct term is ‘dye’, によって the way” She walked back into the motel and Cas followed her.
“I like it. It’s shorter, but I like it” Cas 発言しました and he reached for Meg’s hair, but she pulled away.
“So, eh, why are あなた here? I thought you’d moved back in with Dean and Sam” Meg asked casual, while she consciously tried to avoid looking at Cas. “You two lovebirds broke up already?”
“Dean’s not my boyfriend” Cas answered.
“Okay” Meg scoffed.
“I’m sorry I didn’t call あなた and tell あなた where I was” Cas 発言しました in an apologizing way. “But I was really ill and I couldn’t tell you. I was asleep for a week, but Anna 発言しました she read you. Are あなた okay?”
“I’m fine” Meg mumbled.
“Dean 発言しました he called you” Cas 発言しました careful. “I had hoped you’d come and see how I was doing”
“Eh, yeah, sorry” Meg answered uncaring. “I was busy. I have a job. I’m actually working tonight”
“That’s…really good” Cas コメントしました and he tried to sound happy for her. Dean was right, Meg didn’t care. “What kind of work?”
Meg poured herself a cup of coffee and drank from it before she answered. “As a call girl” If that confession was supposed to shock Cas, then Meg had completely failed in her purpose; Cas didn’t even blink.
“What’s a call girl?” he asked serious.
Now Meg was conflicted. If she told him the truth he’d leave her alone. But she didn’t really want him to know she was sleeping around with other men for money.
“A call girl is someone who helps people with relationship problems, over the phone” she made up.
“That sounds like a noble cause” Cas replied.
“I guess” Meg said.
“We’re leaving soon. You’re not coming with us, are you?” Cas asked sad. Meg shook her head. Cas walked to her. “I’ll stay if あなた want me to”
Meg looked away. “Why would I want that?” she asked difficult. Cas was invading her personal space. She tried to get away, but Cas placed his hands on the dresser, so Meg was trapped. He bowed his head and kissed her.
Meg put her hands on his chest, but if she tried to push him away, she didn’t put much effort to it. Cas pulled away. “Consider this goodbye” he 発言しました soft. He took a few steps back and Meg tried to breath normally, while her ハート, 心 was pounding in her chest. “I’ll call あなた when we’re settled. Good luck on your job”

Sam was waiting in line in a local snack bar. While he was waiting he watched the news, airing on a flat screen television, hanging on the ceiling.
“The thirty-five 年 old Zoey Allen has escaped the local hospital of 城 Rock, Colorado. Allen was brought into the hospital after she got stuck in a fire. Allen is extremely dangerous and wanted for several murders. She might be armed”
The news reader gave a number people could call if they had any kind of information.
Sam walked out of the snack bar and conjured his phone. He quickly dialed Dean’s number.
“Hello?”
“Dean, Zoey escaped” Sam 発言しました fast.
“What? I thought she was dead” Dean 発言しました disbelieving.
“Apparently not” Sam said. “Lock your door. Don’t let anyone in”
“I wasn’t going to” Dean 発言しました and Sam heard him lock the door.

The first witness was the mother of the seven 年 old boy Cas had healed from a life threatening fever.
“I went to the キッチン and when I came back Mr. Allen, as he presented himself, had his hands all over my son. I…I think he was taking advantage of my son’s weakness”
“Objection!” Craig said. “I think everyone in 城 Rock knows about my client’s special abilities? Castiel can heal people with his bare hands, which is why Mrs. Jones had him come over in the first place. But to do his job he needs to touch his patient. He doesn’t even charge them”
“Of course he wouldn’t” Evan Trumble, Daphne’s attorney, said. “That’s because he knows that what he’s doing is wrong”
While Craig and Evan where quibbling, Cas looked sharp at Mrs. Jones.
“I never touched your son and あなた know it. I saved your son and this is not the right way to thank me”
Mrs. Jones seemed to cringe and looked around to find support または a way out.

Night fell and Meg was playing with her phone. She had gotten so used to the sound of wings, she didn’t bother to look up when Balthazar and Anna appeared.
“We just heard Castiel’s trial’s tomorrow, which is very unusual” Balthazar said. “Whatever Crowley’s up to, it’ll happen tomorrow”
Meg shrugged. Why did everyone expect her to care?
“That means you’ll have to be prepared” Anna 発言しました sharp.
Meg stopped playing games with her phone.
“We’re getting あなた out tonight” Anna said.
Meg looked up, happy as a child. “Finally” she said.
Balthazar conjured his sword, but then a bright light shone from somewhere ahead of them.
“Oh no” Meg said. “Oh no no no no no no!”
That didn’t exactly help, because an instant later both Balthazar and Anna were gone.
Meg sunk to the bottom of her cell.
“Great” she 発言しました grumpy. “Juuuust great”
