Does anyone know the details behind why Kripke left?

I know he left after the initially planned five seasons ended and that Gamble took over, but why'd he leave? I apologize if the answer is obvious, when it comes to the background of the 表示する and real lives of the actors I know zip ;P

Can't really argue with that. But y'know, they're switching to a new writer for the 次 season (one who's actually written some of my personal お気に入り episodes) and Gamble's been in charge since the beginning of season six (when the initial storyarc ended). Anyhow, don't shoot down season eight just yet! There'll be some changes, and we've gotten over the lack of supporting characters at this point.

I think that he left because like あなた said, he only planned for 5 seasons of supernatural. When that ended, he decided to 移動する on to a new project, leaving gamble in charge with the future of the show. actually to be honest, i didn't really mind season 6-7, until these last few episodes of season 7. after bobby died, i think it went downhill from there, picked up again when sam went crazy then went down again. I'm really hoping season 8 will pick up. i really really miss the family dynamic that sam and dean had, the one that saved the world in season 5 finale, i mean, its so different now...

maybe he was just thinking it will not go on after season 5 because he allway 発言しました it was a 5year thing but CW wanted もっと見る so he gave it to sara and I like to call it the joss W thing like with buffy joss left for season 7 of buffy and gave the 表示する to a girl and that was its last season so but who really knows.
