Stranger Things breaks Twitter records over ハロウィン weekend 

While you were out dressed up as Eleven for Halloween over the weekend, the real Eleven has been making moves as a

young social media mogul from the Upside Down.

Since the second season of the show premiered at 12:01 a.m. ET this past Friday, the supernatural preteen has been crowned the most-tweeted about character from 

which isn’t surprising since Millie Bobby Brown is becoming a bonafide social media star herself. Eleven is followed by Will, Steve, Hopper, and Dustin in terms of Twitter popularity, but honestly, D’Artagnan the Pollywog deserves some more love. At least Steve Harrington is getting his due.

The show has also broken Twitter records by becoming the most-tweeted about streaming program during an opening weekend of 2017 with more than 3.7 million tweets and counting.
