Ok so I know a lot of あなた are happy that Elena chose Stefan. Some of あなた are probably just ectastic. Honestly...I am not.
To me, when I see how Elena behaves towards Stefan, its just not the same Elena I saw in Season 1 and Season 2 (Especially Season 1). When she was talking on the phone with Damon, its like she is choosing to be with Stefan for all the wrong reasons. It was like she was implying that because she met Stefan first, she has such a huge connection to him and thats why she feels obligated to be with him. Thats what I got out of it.
Which is why she says, "Maybe if we met first" to Damon. On that point, I just wanna say, "umm wtf??" The whole "who met who first" stuff is just stupid. I don't understand why that holds water to who Elena is suppose to be madly in 愛 with. I just get so angry 読書 コメント about that on YouTube and when Delena ファン are like, "Oh he did meet her first after all, therefore Delena is endgame." Give me a break! When Elena and Stefan met, it was a "love at first sight" connection. In Damon's flashback, Damon and Elena were just talking and yeah they flirted a bit...but STILL!!! In the phone call, Elena made it seem like if she met Damon first, things would have been a lot different! Seriously? Seems like the writers are trying too hard to please the Delena fanbase even when it defies all logic! *eye roll*
I also feel mainly Elena is scared of what it would do to Stefan if she chooses to be with Damon. Therefore I feel Elena is choosing to be with Stefan out of sympathy.
Honestly, I don't even know anymore if I am shipping Stelena because I am just not seeing the same Stelena. Don't get me wrong, they still have chemistry. And I loved the amazing scenes they had in Season 3. I know for a fact that Stefan loves her. I just know that. I can see it. But with Elena, I just can't right now. The 書く for her feelings between Stefan and Damon has also been very inconsistent. In Season 1 and 2, Elena was all about Stefan and then in Season 3, she was going back and forth. Some episodes あなた just knew for sure, she wanted just Stefan and other episodes, she wanted Damon. And to me, when Elena did want Damon, it was portrayed as lust. Therefore ANOTHER thing that pissed me off about this episode, is that it made it seem like what Elena has for Damon is so much deeper than lust または rather, that it was actually comparable to what I THOUGHT she felt for Stefan. I was SO sure that what she felt for Damon is not comparable to how she feels for Stefan and now? I am just not sure anymore. If this is how Elena is being portrayed, then I just can't ship Stelena, because this is not what I fell for.
The fact that there was a lot of focus on Delena and not Stelena in the episode also worries me on who is gonna be endgame. Its like they were giving hints that Delena really isn't over and there is still a chance that Elena will choose Damon. Like for example, she tells Matt that when she is with Damon, it consumes her. In Damon's flashback, he tells Elena what kind of 愛 she wants. He tells her she wants a 愛 that consumes her.....um, that didn't give me a good feeling at all. Not to mention, Elena tells Matt how she feels when she is with Stefan and again, I get this sense that she only wants to be with him because she feels "safe" when she is with him and that she loved that he was there for her when she needed someone. I hate to say it, but that doesn't sound very romantic :S That doesn't scream "He is my soulmate" to me. To me, this is worse than her actually choosing Damon. Don't throw tomatoes at me, but I would have rather have her choose Damon now and explore her feelings with Damon and THEN realize afterwards that what she has with Stefan is irreplaceable. Instead, in my HUMBLE opinion, what happened in last night's episode looked a lot worse and was a slap to my face as a Stelena fan.
Anyways I am really sorry if this 記事 is depressing to those of あなた who are actually happy that Elena chose Stefan. That is not my intention. I am happy that a lot of あなた are happy. But I do wonder if some of あなた actually feel the same way I do. Just like you, I just want Stelena to be endgame but I want it to be done RIGHT. I want it to happen because they BOTH know that they can't live without each other and that they are each other's soulmates. NOT because of a security thing. I guess right now, I am not shipping Stelena. I will only go back to shipping Stelena if the writers convince me that Elena really wants to be with Stefan for all the right reasons. Otherwise, I am pretty much done with Stelena, as far as shipping them goes.
I will, however, continue to watch the 表示する as I happen to watch the 表示する for all the characters. And even though I was not impressed with how they "resolved" the Elena/Stefan/Damon triangle, the episode was very emotional 全体, 全体的です and the 芝居 was amazing.
