Here are some reasons why I think South Park is great. Enjoy!

1. Matt and Trey do all the voices except the female characters and Token, Towelie, hoodless Kenny and guests.

2. It has never been cancelled since it premiered in 1997.

3. Matt and Trey, the creators of the show, also do voices, direct, often provide music, are in direct contact with the animators, and much more.

4. The average episode takes six days to make, before the Wednesday it airs. Exceptions to this would be the first episodes and ones that take longer to animate, like "Major Boobage".

5. A lot of the characters are based on real people. Stan is essentially Trey Parker, Kyle is Matt, and Butters is Eric Stough. Kenny is based on Trey's friend when he was growing up. Kenneth was poor, wore an オレンジ parka, and often didn't 表示する up to school. He and his フレンズ would joke that he died.

6. South Park was ground-breaking in 1997. Introducing then-controversial characters like Big Gay Al helped make them mainstream for TV. Now, the first season seems "tame".

7. The first episode, "Cartman Gets an Anal Probe", was made mostly out of construction paper using stop-motion animation, as well as Matt and Trey's shorts in college.

8. South Park is currently the highest rated 表示する on Comedy Central.

9. It commonly demonstrates the defense of freedom of speech; either everything is okay to make fun of または nothing is. This includes the Muslim prophet Muhammad.

10. It deals with national and international issues as they happen, like in "Quintuplets 2000" and "Best フレンズ Forever".

11. Matt and Trey did not expect the 表示する to make it past six episodes.

12. It was one of the first animated shows for adult audiences.

13. Instead of having large roles, celebrity guests who provide their voices must settle for small roles like Stan's dog (George Clooney) または a turkey (Jerry Seinfeld, but he declined).

14. It is one of the rare animated shows that isn't sent overseas to animate; it's all done in one studio in LA.

15. Matt and Trey make special five-minute commentary "minis" for each episode. Sometimes they are longer, like in season one, Imaginationland, and South Park BLU.

16. Issac Hayes did the voice of Chef until 2005. Matt and Trey did a Scientology episode, despite the fact that Issac might be offended.

17. South Park makes fun of society's view of celebrities, like Paris Hilton, Mel Gibson, and many more.

18. There is a lesson at the end of nearly every episode. And they're not stupid; they're actually meaningful.

19. South Park is the only 表示する with a character that dies and magically comes back the 次 week, Kenny.

20. The 表示する has made it nearly fourteen seasons and is set to go through 2015. Let's hope they make もっと見る after that!

It's all fun and games until Muhammad gets made fun of. あなた may think I need to attend "Muslim Sensitivity Training" after 読書 this article, but this is just what I think of the controversy.
The episode of South Park entitled "201" was censored によって Comedy Central after the netowork recieved warnings from Muslim groups for the 前 episode's depiction of Muhammad.
Yeah, censoring was the 安全, 安全です route to take. But what I don't understand is, how is it okay to 表示する Buddha doing コーラ and ジーザス surfing for porn, but 表示中 Muhammad in a くま, クマ costume is a no-no?
South Park is known for making...
