From Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

Messrs. Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot, and Prongs
Purveyors of Aids to Magical Mischief-Makers
are proud to present
THE MARAUDER'S MAP (PA10)

Madam Rosmerta: "Of all the people to go over to the Dark Side, Sirius Black was the last I’d have thought … I mean, I remember him when he was a boy at Hogwarts. If you’d told me what he was going to become, I’d have 発言しました you’d had too much mead." (PA10)

Flitwick: "You’d have thought Black and Potter were brothers!" chimed in Professor Flitwick. "Inseparable!" (PA10)

Marauder's Map to Snape: "Mr. Padfoot would like to register his astonishment that an idiot like that ever became a professor." (PA14)

In the Shrieking Shack: Black was sprawled at the bottom of the wall. His thin chest rose and fell rapidly as he watched Harry walking slowly nearer, his wand pointing straight at Black's heart.
"Going to kill me, Harry?" he whispered.
Harry stopped right above him, his wand still pointing at Black's chest, looking down at him. A livid bruise was rising around Black's left eye and his nose was bleeding.
"You killed my parents," 発言しました Harry, his voice shaking slightly but his wand quite steady.
Black stared up at him out of those sunken eyes.
"I don’t deny it," he 発言しました very quietly. "But if あなた knew the whole story." (PA17)

"All right, then," Black said, without taking his eyes off the rat. "Tell them whatever あなた like. But make it quick, Remus. I want to commit the murder I was imprisoned for..." (PA18)

Snape to Sirius: "Give me a reason," he whispered. "Give me a reason to do it, and I swear I will."
Black stopped dead. It would have been impossible to say which face showed もっと見る hatred. (PA19)

Lupin: "Not if he thought I was the spy, Peter," 発言しました Lupin. "I assume that's why あなた didn't tell me, Sirius?" he 発言しました casually over Pettigrew's head.
"Forgive me, Remus," 発言しました Black.
"Not at all, Padfoot, old friend," 発言しました Lupin, who was now rolling up his sleeves. "And will あなた forgive me for believing あなた were the spy?"
"Of course," 発言しました Black, and the ghost of a grin flitted across his gaunt face. He, too, began rolling up his sleeves. "Shall we kill him together?" (PA19)

"What was there to be gained によって fighting the most evil wizard that ever existed?" 発言しました Black, with a terrible fury in his face.
"Only innocent lives, Peter!"
"You don't understand!" whined Pettigrew, "He would have killed me, Sirius!"
"THEN あなた SHOULD HAVE DIED!" roared Black. "DIED RATHER THAN BETRAY YOUR FRIENDS, AS WE WOULD HAVE DONE FOR YOU!" (PA19)

To Sirius: "Are あなた insane?" 発言しました Harry, his voice easily as croaky as Black's. "Of course I want to leave the Dursleys! Have あなた got a house? When can I 移動する in?" (PA20)

"We will see each other again," he said. "You are -- truly your father’s son, Harry...." (PA21)

From Harry Potter and the Goblet of 火災, 火

Sirius shook his head and said, "She’s got the measure of Crouch better than あなた have, Ron. If あなた want to know what a man's like, take a good look at how he treats his inferiors, not his equals." (GF27)

"Imagine that Voldemort’s powerful now. あなた don’t know who his supporters are, あなた don’t know who’s working for him and who isn’t; あなた know he can control people so that they do terrible things without being able stop themselves. You’re scared for yourself, and your family, and your friends. Every week, news comes of もっと見る deaths, もっと見る disappearances, もっと見る torturing … The Ministry of Magic’s in disarray, they don’t know what to do, they’re trying to keep everything hidden from the Muggles, but meanwhile, Muggles are dying too. Terror everywhere … panic … confusion … that’s how it used to be."
“Well, times like that bring out the best in some people and the worst in others." (GF27)

"Ever since I found out Snape was teaching here, I’ve wondered why Dumbledore hired him. Snape’s always been fascinated によって the Dark Arts, he was famous for it at school. Slimy, oily, greasy-haired kid, he was," Sirius added, and Harry and Ron grinned at each other. "Snape knew もっと見る curses when he arrived at school than half the kids in seventh year, and he was part of a gang of Slytherins who nearly-all turned out to be Death Eaters." (GF27)

"Poor old Snuffles," 発言しました Ron, breathing deeply. "He must really like you, Harry.... Imagine having to live off rats." (GF27)

From Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

"Personally, I'd have welcomed a dementor attack. A deadly struggle for my soul would have broken the monotony nicely. あなた think you've had it bad, at least you've been able to get out and about, stretch your legs, get into a few fights.... I've been stuck inside for a month."
"How come?" asked Harry, frowning.
"Because the Ministry of Magic's still after me, and Voldemort will know all about me being an Animagus によって now, Wormtail will have told him, so my big disguise is useless. There's not much I can do for the Order of the Phoenix ... または so Dumbledore feels." (OP5)

Sirius' mother: "Stains of dishonor, filthy half-breeds, blood traitors, children of filth..."

Kreacher: "...Smells like a drain and a criminal to boot, but she's no better, nasty old blood traitor with her brats messing up my mistress's house, oh, my poor mistress, if she knew, if she knew the scum they've let into her house, what would she say to Kreacher, oh the shame of it, Mudbloods and 狼男 and traitors and thieves, poor old Kreacher, what can he do..."

"Well, as everyone thinks I’m a mad mass murderer and the Ministry’s put a ten-thousand-Galleon price on my head, I can hardly stroll up the 通り, ストリート and start handing out leaflets, can I?" (OP5)

Hermione: "Suit yourselves. But I sometimes think Ron's mum's right, and Sirius gets confused about whether you're あなた または your father, Harry."
"So あなた think he's touched in the head?" 発言しました Harry heatedly.
"No, I just think he's been very lonely for a long time." (OP9)

Sirius, who was right beside Harry, let out his usual barklike laugh.
"No one would have made me a prefect, I spent too much time in detention with James. Lupin was the good boy, he got the badge."
"I think Dumbledore might have hoped I would be able to exercise some control over my best friends," 発言しました Lupin. "I need scarcely say that I failed dismally." (OP9)

To Harry: "Yes, but the world isn't スプリット, 分割 into good people and Death Eaters," 発言しました Sirius with a wry smile. (OP14)

There was a pause in which Sirius looked out of the 火災, 火 at Harry, a crease between his sunken eyes.
"You're a lot less like your father than I thought," he 発言しました finally, a definite coolness in his voice. "The risk would've been what made it fun for James." (OP14)

To フレッド and George: "This is how it is -- this is why you're not in the Order -- あなた don't understand -- there are things worth dying for!" (OP22)

To Snape: "What's that supposed to mean?" 発言しました Sirius, letting his chair fall back onto all four legs with a loud bang.
"Merely that I am sure あなた must feel -- ah -- frustrated によって the fact that あなた can to nothing useful," Snape laid a delicate stress on the word, "for the Order."
It was Sirius's turn to flush. Snape's lip curled in triumph.... (OP24)

"I've warned you, Snivellus," 発言しました Sirius, his face barely a foot from Snape's, I don't care if Dumbledore thinks you've reformed, I know better --"
"Oh, but why don't あなた tell him so?" whispered Snape. "Or are あなた afraid he might not take the アドバイス of a man who has been hiding inside his mother's house for six months very seriously?"
"Tell me, how is Lucius Malfoy these days?" I expect he's delighted his lapdog's working at Hogwarts, isn't he?"
"Speaking of dogs," 発言しました Snape softly, "did あなた know that Lucius Malfoy recognized あなた last time あなた risked a little jaunt outside? Clever idea, Black, getting yourself seen on a 安全, 安全です station platform ... gave あなた a cast-iron excuse not to leave your hidey-hole in future, didn't it?" (OP24)

"I'll get to the point, then," 発言しました Sirius, standing up. He was rather taller than Snape who, Harry noticed, balled his fist in the pocket of his マント, 隠す over what Harry was sure was the handle of his wand. "If I hear you're using these Occlumency lessons to give Harry a hard time, you'll have me to answer to." (OP24)

To Harry: "I want あなた to take this," he 発言しました quietly, thrusting a badly wrapped package roughly the size of a paperback book into Harry's hands.
"What is it?" Harry asked.
"A way of letting me know if Snape's giving あなた a hard time. No, don't open it here!" 発言しました Sirius, with a wary look at Mrs. Weasley, "I doubt Molly would approve -- but I want あなた to use it if あなた need me, alright?" (OP24)

Snape's worst memory: With another shock of excitement, Harry saw Sirius give James the thumbs-up. Sirius was lounging in his chair at his ease, tilting it back on two legs. He was very good-looking; his dark hair fell into his eyes with a sort of casual elegance neither James's nor Harry's could ever have achieved, and a girl sitting behind him was eyeing him hopefully though he didn't seem to have noticed. (OP28)

Snape's worst memory: Lupin had pulled out a book and was reading. Sirius stared around at the students milling over the grass, looking rather haughty and bored, but very handsomely so. (OP28)

Snape's worst memory: "This will liven あなた up, Padfoot," 発言しました James quietly. "Look who it is..."
"Excellent," he 発言しました softly. "Snivellus."
Harry turned to see what Sirius was looking at.
Snape was on his feet again, and was stowing the O.W.L. paper in his bag. As he emerged from the shadows of the bushes and set off across the grass, Sirius and James stood up. Lupin and Wormtail remained sitting: Lupin was still staring down at his book, though his eyes were not moving and a faint frown line had appeared between his eyebrows. Wormtail was looking from Sirius and James to Snape with a look of avid anticipation on his face.
"All right, Snivellus?" 発言しました James loudly.
Snape reacted so fast it was as though he had been expecting an attack. Dropping his bag, he plunged his hand inside his robes, and his wand was halfway into the air when James shouted "Expelliarmus!"
Snape's wand flew twelve feet into the air and fell with a little thud in the 草 behind him. Sirius let out a bark of laughter. "Impedimenta!" he said, pointing his wand at Snape, who was knocked off his feet, halfway through a dive toward his own fallen wand.
Students all around had turned to watch. Some of them had gotten to their feet and were edging nearer to watch. Some looked apprehensive, others entertained.
Snape lay panting on the ground. James and Sirius advanced on him, wands up, James glancing over his shoulder at the girls at the water's edge as he went. Wormtail was on his feet now, watching hungrily, edging around Lupin to get a clearer view.
"How'd the exam go Snivelly?" 発言しました James.
"I was watching him, his nose was touching the parchment," 発言しました Sirius viciously. "There'll be great grease marks all over it, they won't be able to read a word." [...]
"Leave him ALONE!"
James and Sirius looked around. James's free hand jumped to his hair again.
It was one of the girls from the lake edge. She had thick dark red hair that fell to her shoulders and startlingly green almond-shaped eyes -- Harry's eyes.
Harry's mother... (OP28)

The Battle of the Department of Mysteries: Only one couple were still battling, apparently unaware of the new arrival. Harry saw Sirius アヒル, 鴨 Bellatrix's jet of red light: He was laughing at her. "Come on, あなた can do better than that!" he yelled, his voice echoing around the cavernous room.
The 秒 jet of light hit him squarely on the chest.
The laughter had not quite died from his face, but his eyes widened in shock. [....]
It seemed to take Sirius an age to fall. His body curved in a graceful arc as he sank backward through the ragged veil hanging from the arch....
And Harry saw the look of mingled fear and surprise on his godfather's wasted, once-handsome face as he fell through the ancient doorway and disappeared behind the veil, which fluttered for a moment as though a high wind and then fell back into place. (OP35)

Lupin: "There's nothing あなた can do, Harry ... nothing .... He's gone." (OP35)

Phineas Nigellus: "Am I to understand," 発言しました Phineas Nigellus slowly from Harry's left, "that my great-great-grandson -- the last of the Blacks -- is dead?" (OP37)

Dumbledore: "Sirius was a brave, clever, and energetic man, and such men are not usually content to sit at ホーム in hiding while they believe others to be in danger." (OP37)

He turned the mirror over. There on the reverse side was a scribbled note from Sirius.
This is a two-way mirror, I've got the other. If あなた need to speak to me, just say my name into it; you'll appear in my mirror and I'll be able to talk in yours. James and I used to use them when we were in separate detentions. (OP38)
