I am a Hannes fan, and I got really upset when his number was up (he had alittle bit more to offer in the story: a SECRET he knew that has to do with Eren's dad's involvement with the Titans! Nuts!). But I picked Carla, not because she had it bad: pinned down, had her legs broken, not able to run away, nor do anything to defend herself (dang Titan squished her like a bug with its' fingers before biting her in half), not because she was Eren's mum, but unlike the rest, not including the Titans, she was the only civilian on this list to die horribly. 	Haelis picked Carla: Erens mother's death was really the saddest and most shocking, mostly because it catches you off guard in the very first episode and really sets the bar for the rest of the series, as far as the sheer brutality of future character deaths go. You also bare witness to the pure helplessness the main character feels at that moment. My second choice is the entirety of Levi's team. I really couldn't choose just one of this group.
