There was a lot of controversy about the ピンク 馬 in Sel's upcoming video.
"When Selena was presented the idea for the video, no one informed her the 馬 would be painted and she had assumed they would be colored in post-production [via special effects]," a production insider told !E. "When she showed up to the set she was very surprised to see them painted."
And then of course, as some of あなた might remember, ピンク tweeted her outrage about the horses:
"If there are any animal activists around Malibu-at Leo Cabrillo State Beach, there are 馬 being painted for a stupid 音楽 video," the PETA supporter tweeted. "Artists should be もっと見る aware and responsible for their actions."
While PETA spokesman Dan Mathews insists "there are no 安全, 安全です ways to paint a live horse または any animal," Sel's camp reps put out a statement assuring that "no 動物 were harmed and all proper precautions were taken. A nontoxic, vegetable-based powder paint was applied via an airbrush and removed with water. An official from the Humane Society was on set supervising."
But it looks like that was not enough to put out the fire. "Love あなた Like a 愛 Song," Sel's new song and video which was to feature the ponies, will not feature them in the end. The color-enhanced 動物 will no longer be featured in the clip's final cut.
The "Love あなた Like a 愛 Song" video along with an exclusive interview with the singer will debut on E! News June 22.
IS SEL JEALOUS?

Being jealous is not healthy, though it does sometimes happen! Sel doesn't want all the pressure and has confessed she never wanted to be a role model:
“I never really 発言しました I want to be a role model. But then when it happened I was so down for it,” she said.
“I’m human, I’m not perfect. I make mistakes all the time, but I guess my job is to keep those mistakes to myself, which I’m already fine doing and just try to be the best I can be for those kids.”
