I saw this on Wikipedia :In 2006 a survey found Denmark to be the happiest place in the world, based on standards of health, welfare, and education. In 2007 the country's capital is ranked the second most liveable city in the world by Monocle magazine and ranked as the happiest nation in the world.

Does anyone have a quick link to ethnic/cultural statistics for these cities? I'm sure I could dig such info up with enough searching, but I figure one or more of you would have such information more readily at hand.

For myself, I love to visit other cultures, but I unconsciously start to feel very uncomfortable every place I've visited that has had a really strong ethnic majority. I guess that growing up and living in an area with no ethnic majority has spoiled me. So I'd like to know how uncomfortable I'd be - if at all! - in such cities before I schedule travel plans. Of course, with my baby, it'd be some years before I'd be scheduling that, anyhow, but it's nice to plan ahead as to which I'd give precedence in my itinerary.

Trying to find that info for ya Harold.

Off the top of my head, it is mostly white... with a preponderance of blond/red hair and blue eyes, but not as prevalent as people think.

Over the past several years there has been a massive influx of immigrants from the desert region and from the US.

I mean, it is much like the US in cultural breakdown. How high the mix is really depends on what part of the countries you visit. Yanno? In Sweden, you will find the most diversity in Stockholm, Goteborg, and Malmo.

I'll keep looking for some numbers for ya.
