While 読書 an e-mail from one of my ラット groups I read about an interesting phenomenon called GGMR. After discovering what the acronym stood for I burst out laughing. Although the catchphrase was new to me, the reality of its existence was longstanding, and entirely too familiar. GGMR-Gotta Get もっと見る Rats.
GGMR has a few distinct causes. First of all, it is the wonderful personalities and absolute cuteness of rats. The もっと見る あなた are around rats, the もっと見る あなた 愛 them. After a few days with my first boys, I knew I could never be without rats. Their innate charm draws あなた in and あなた soon realize there’s no escape. When it comes to rats, however, that realization is not at all unpleasant.
Second are all of the different varieties out there. I was amazed when I first heard about all the Colors(色) and types of rats that exist. A blue rat? Lilac? Curly coated rex? These were amazing concepts to me. Being a collector at heart, I, of course, wanted one of every kind. Still do I might add.
I am somewhat of a realist. My GGMR is tempered によって the fact that I can only care for so many rats at one time. Regionality is another factor in limiting. Some areas just don’t have certain types of rats. When I lived in Texas it was difficult to find Dumbos and I still have never seen a lilac. (I really want a lilac!) If you’re lucky enough to find a “rare” ラット for your area-how can あなた not add that unique creature to your household?!
There are also the もっと見る heartfelt reasons for GGMR- those rats in need of rescue. Whether they are in foster homes, animal shelters, pet stores, または feeder tanks, some rats are in desperate need of rescuing and sometimes it’s just too hard to say no. The feeling of GGMR explodes and あなた take in another rat, または two, または . . .
Whatever the cause, I think that every ラット lover deals with the phenomenon of GGMR from time to time. After all rats are like potato chips-you can’t have just one.
